Saw one of these at my brother in laws. I loved watching the birds hold on and eat. He didn't know where I could get them so of course I looked on Chewy !!

House Finch Crack

Wow! The neighborhood finches came from all over to feed on these. It was cute when they stayed bringing their fledglings and fed them right out of my front window

Wow! The neighborhood finches came from all over to feed on these. It was cute when they stayed bringing their fledglings and fed them right out of my front window. I didn't like the look but it did the job and there would be up to 5 birds on each sack. It did the job!

There is a hole in my sock!

This is my first time to use a thistle sock. I had it hanging for over 3 weeks and saw a couple goldfinches land and other finches but they quickly flew away

This is my first time to use a thistle sock. I had it hanging for over 3 weeks and saw a couple goldfinches land and other finches but they quickly flew away. Finally I noticed a hole started forming. The finches made it since they couldn't get the thistle out...The hole has grown a lot bigger on a downward direction as the thistle is getting depleted. I believe when it is finally empty the bag will have to be thrown away because of the hole.

Useless

Pictured with finches all over the sock getting seed. The seed does not peek out of the sock and the finches ignore it.

The sock lets them not spill seed

They gather at this seed and can’t get enough of it

No birds

I’ve had this hanging for 2 Weeks and no birds have touched it. All the birds go to a separate feeder instead.

Very easy to use and clean, but so far the birds won’t touch it

Super easy to set up - you just pull it right out of the packaging and hang it. I tried a few different locations and putting it where our normal bird feeder hangs

Super easy to set up - you just pull it right out of the packaging and hang it. I tried a few different locations and putting it where our normal bird feeder hangs (also with thistle seeds) but the birds won’t touch it. I will keep trying. I wonder if these seeds had gone bad. Overall the ease of use makes me want to try this product again.
