I have Birds of all kinds swarming all over the yard now. they love this food. I can sit on the back patio and watch them for hours. I'm just sorry the bird feeder I got wasnt up to Par.
Too much sunflower seed
on Apr 18, 2019
This food is okay, but has a ton of sunflower seeds and not a whole lot of fruit and nuts. And the fruit chunks are kind of large. I saw some birds trying to yank it out of the feeder. The one side of my feeder with about 1/4" square wire openings, the food gets all clogged up.
Loaded with fruit and nuts

I wanted to add more dried fruit and nuts to the bird seed that we put in our backyard feeder, so I bought a bag from Brown's and one from another company (both sold on Chewy). Prices were comparable, but the Brown's mix was far superior. It contained much more dried fruit and zero filler seeds. It actually looks like trail mix that I buy for the family to eat! Highly recommend.

Mixture is a big hit with returning robins, cardinals and blue jays
on Mar 13, 2019
This blend has made my bird feeding station quite popular. The robins that are returning from their winter homes love the dried fruit, the cardinals enjoy the sunflower and safflower seed and the blue jays crave those peanuts (as do squirrels!) I've actually seen birds lurking in the surrounding trees waiting for me to fill the feeder.

Some of the pieces are so large that the birds can't get them out of the wire mesh. The zip open top seems great, but I couldn't fit my scoop in the opening and it was hard to pour out from the front of the bag.
Outdoor birds love this!

I added this, as a treat, to my usual seed for the backyard birds. Oh my! They came from all over and had a feast. Now it's a regular item in the feed bowl and the birds sing for me. Zoweee!
nice mix for a change in food
on Feb 9, 2019
I bought this just to give the birds something different. Although, it certainly doesn't have as much fruit & nuts as the picture, I was still surprised to find chunks of fruit and whole cashews. At first, I thought, "what bird eats whole cashews?" But, sure enough, I've watched little chickadees fly away with a whole cashew. It's amazing. The little critters love it. I would buy it again to treat the birds.
Special blend at a great price

All our birds love this mix plus the squirrels, deer, and wild turkeys. Works best in my feeder with larger feeding ports. Chunky pieces get stuck in my other feeders so I save regular sunflower seeds for those feeders. Very pleased with the variety of contents and the price.

This stuff is 90% sunflower seeds, but it lists nuts, fruit and berries on the front of the package. The package should read sunflower seeds, nuts, fruit and berries. Even the picture on the front of the bag shows lots nuts, raisins, fruit etc. Waste of money. The birds and squirrels won't it. Shouldn't get any stars at all.
Wow, some mix!

This enticing mix is great not only for birds, but for rabbits and squirrels too. You get a lot for the price too. I have 5 acres of desert land. Life is tough for these little critters as well as the birds. So, an occasional treat for all of them is pretty special. A really good nutritional treat. Thanks to Chewy for carrying Brown's Nut, Fruit and Berry Mix.
