Good quality BUT...
By McKenzie on Jan 12, 2021
I got this hay a couple days ago and the hay itself is really good with long green strands but I have been finding crickets nonstop and I have found a patch of fur in this hay. I understand if it was a couple of crickets but they are everywhere and like I said I just got this hay and have already found 8 crickets and a patch of fur. Maybe it is just this batch so I don’t want this review to be the reason that someone doesn’t try this hay out because it really is good hay. Just keep this in mind and make sure you look through the hay before giving it to your pets. I will put a picture of a few of the crickets and patch of fur that I found.

Wonderful Hay!
By 5pigs on Jan 19, 2021
Was looking to try other hay and this had great reviews and the price was good so I gave it a shot. All of my pigs LOVE this hay so much, they always get excited when I add more to their cage. I underestimated how big 22 pounds of hay was gonna be lol, next time I'll get a smaller box.

Rabbits won't eat it.
By kiminathens77 on Dec 15, 2020
I have four rabbits that usually aren't hay snobs but none of them like this hay. It smells good, green and has longish hard pieces. They usually like that!! I've been buying another brand but needed a cheaper hay due to Covid..... ($50 a month in hay is too much) This is $15 cheaper and with 2.5 lbs more. The only thing I can think of is it's very dusty! I've been trying to MAKE them eat it but I can't risk their health from not eating enough hay. So, looks like I'm going to have to trash alot of hay and go back to the more expensive hay.

A lot of waste
By 5littleguineas on Jan 9, 2021
I was trying something new by buying bigger quantities for my 5 guineas but a lot of the bag was dust and had both the guinea pigs and myself sneezing. It lasted longer than what I usually get but a huge chunk of the back was complete waste and had to be thrown out before I even reached the bottom.

Rabbits' Favorite Hay
By Sarah on Jan 16, 2021
Fresh, green mix of hard and soft strands and fluffy seed heads. Minimal small pieces. Smells better than any timothy I've bought before; very sweet, almost like a ripe banana. Rabbits devour it and seem to waste a lot less of than other brands.

This hay is awesome!
By Maddy on Jan 7, 2021
This hay is great! Nice long, green pieces. I usually buy Oxbow hay but the quality isn’t always promising so I took a chance and bought this hay and it’s wonderful. I will be purchasing again.

excellent quality!
By Kari on Dec 30, 2020
I will definitely buy it again. The quality is amazing. No dust, the leaves was green not yellow, soft. At the moment I put it on the cage, my two guinea piggies ate so much. They didn’t want to leave.

Wow, pleasantly surprised!
By Shauna on Oct 4, 2020
There are only a couple of brands of hay I like, and my fav is sold out. So I gave Brytin a shot, had never heard of them. I am thrilled with what I have received. I was worried that it would be very stemmy or scratchy since it says 1st cut, but it is soft yet still firm, and has lots of puffy seed heads. Smells so good! Would totally buy this again. My 20 pigs dig it too! Also came a day early...on Sunday. Thank you, Chewy!!

Would buy again
By Starry on Oct 1, 2020
Looks great, feels great, smells great! What more could a bunny mama want? It’s advertised as first cut but it’s not stalky and hard like straw, which is the quality I’ve received before from other brands. I would definitely get more from Brytin and would love to see them offer other types of hay since I like to mix them and give the buns some variety.

Great qualify
By Kate on Sep 25, 2020
My bunny usually doesn't like to eat Timothy hay at all, especially the first cut. I bought this product because it's first cut which is healthy for rabbits daily hay. Surprisingly my bunny likes it a lot! Recommend!
