The senior feed Buckeye is great our horse Smokey loves this product and doesnt toss it out of his feeder and eats every bit of it we put his medicine in it and it is gone had problems with other feed but this one works thank you every one
Old mini likes
Got this for my old mini because he can’t chew hay anymore and can’t have a lot of sugar/starch. It soaks pretty fast and he loves it. He lost a ton of weight when I was trying to transition him to different forage but has safely put it back on and looks great on this feed.
Old man approved!
I absolutely love how quickly this feed soaks! And my picky senior gelding (who doesn’t even like his feed soaked) eats it without hesitation
Great Quality & our ponies love it!
I opened the bag and it smelled AMAZING. The extruded pellets soak so quickly in the mash for our boys it saves time and makes it much easier on our oldest senior to eat. We just started this about a week ago and both our boys are loving it! Excited to see the long term results for them both!
buckeye senior stinks
Tried this because the other senior doubled in price - my horse hates it has a bad smell and totally wasted my money
Really good feed for seniors, teeth problems, metabolic horses.
He loves it
My horse is a super picky eater. He loves this. He’s Cushings positive, but it’s well controlled with meds and a proper diet. This feed has proven itself to be the best for him.
Picky Eater Approved!
My 23 year old gelding is very picky but he really loves this feed! He is very picky about which apples he likes, but he will happily eat all of this apple flavored feed. It smells really good. I feed him twice a day and he is getting 5 lbs per day, so 2.5 morning and 2.5 evening. He has been on this feed for a little over a month now and his weight has improved a bit. I'm very happy that he will eat this feed and that he finishes all of it.
Horse loves it!
My senior gelding has trouble keeping weight on. He loves this feed. He didn’t care for the weight booster supplements we have tried in the past.
This Saved My Old Horse's Life
I have an old, old horse that gets super skinny and loses his hair every spring. He has no back teeth and lives on beet pulp. I just didn't think he was going to make it another year and somebody posted on a social network about this feed. I thought, like the hundreds of other things I had tried from fat builders, to oils that this was going to be another waste of money. But within 3 weeks, my horse gained weight and is chubby now! He looks like he did fifteen years ago. He has been on it for about a year and a half and with just two scoops a day (one in the morning and one at night) along with a bucket of water-soaked beet pulp each time, he has come through winter and spring like a ten-year-old.And it does not make him hot at all. I am absolutely in love with this feed! If you have an old, skinny horse, please give this a try.
