It's a doggy dentist's favorite tool and a doggy's favorite chew… all in one! The Busy Buddy Bristle Bone Dog Toy has nylon bristles and rubber nubs that stimulate the gums and remove plaque and tartar as dogs entertain themselves gnawing and chewing trying to get their hard-earned reward: rawhide! Bristle Bone Dog Toys are available in multiple sizes and include 4 treats.
Durable nylon and rubber construction, includes 4 Busy Buddy treat ring refills
Comes with all-natural rawhide treats
Nylon bristles and rubber nubs that stimulate the gums and remove plaque and tartar
Made using compressible rubber that's perfect for medium-strength chewers
Busy Buddy interactive toys are made for exactly what the name says—keeping your buddy busy doing the thing he loves to do (chew). These durable treat-holding toys give him an extra reward for chewing the things he should be chewing, instead of the furniture. Playtime is sure to last much longer as he tries to solve the puzzle to get to the tasty rawhide rings.
A Satisfying Challenge for Your Pup
Dogs love to chew because it satisfies instinctual urges. Busy Buddy toys give them the same satisfaction they would get by catching prey in the wild and being able to eat what they catch. There's a Busy Buddy toy for every type of four-legged hunter, and each is made with durable nylon and rubber that has a pleasant vanilla scent.
More Than Just a Puzzle Toy
Aside from being a fun and challenging puzzle toy, the Busy Buddy can help prevent bad behaviors like inappropriate chewing, excessive barking and digging through the trash. It's also the perfect solution for separation anxiety or boredom and makes a great training reward. The varied textures and rawhide rings keep pups content and engaged for hours.
Treat Ring Refills
You can refill your dog's Busy Buddy with several flavors of treat rings, including natural rawhide, peanut butter or bacon. Some have added health benefits, like the Dental Support rings that help clean teeth and freshen breath, or Joint Support rings with glucosamine and chondroitin. Each package is labeled with the ring size that will fit.
Ultra Toys for Determined Chewers
For heavy chewers, a Busy Buddy Ultra toy might be the best option. They're designed to challenge your dog even more than regular Busy Buddy toys. The Ultra Sub has treat rings that spin, and the Ultra Stratos is the same diameter as the rings, making them harder to grip. The cone-shaped ends of the Ultra Woofer present a trickier challenge as your dog figures out how to get to the ring.

bristle toyI have an extra small one for my Yorkie; she loves it and her teeth look great. The only reason I did not rate this with 5 stars is I also have a large one for our bird dog and he has decimated the bristle disk - tooth brush bristles everywhere. He did well with this toy for a out a week but managed to ruin that portion of the toy and the manufacturer does not sell replacement parts. Really think they're missing the boat on that one. The rest of the toy is fine. I contacted PetSafe and they are replacing the toy. We'll see if just that bristle disk was defective or if this chew toy isn't going to work with my big guy. That would be a shame because this does clean their teeth well and gives them something to do on a nasty winter day.

Great for chewersI have a six month old Lab who lives up the Lab stereotype of being a chewer. We've been lucky that she has managed to only chew what is her's (besides 2 shoes when she was about 12 weeks old) but overall very lucky. Her chewing is ridiculous, she literally EATS all her toys especially any rope toys. She has gone through countless stuffed and rope toys destroying them all, right now she has one stuffed toy that I allow her to play with but as soon as she lays down and starts chewing it I take it away. She doesn't have much interest in the Nylabones but occasionally she will chew them. So I bought this bone in hopes it will occupy her for more than a minute and she LOVES it! Literally takes it to bed with her, takes it outside with her... everywhere she has gone for the past two weeks this bone is with her. She has figured out how to get the treats off quickly, but still loves this bone even after the treats are gone and anything that lasts more than 10 minutes with her teeth is a good investment for me =)

Finally a bone my dog likesWhen I first got my puppy, I bought her some bone chews, but she ignored them altogether. Recently, however, she discovered the joys of chewing apart the toilet bowl cleaner brush. In hopes of distracting her, I got the bristle bone - mostly because I hoped the bristles would be reminiscent enough of the toilet bowl brush that she would accept it in substitution. It worked! The bone was acceptable to my puppy's refined palate and she's been gnawing on it ever since.
While she can demolish a toilet brush in nothing flat, she hasn't been able to chew through this thing yet. She can get the treats out in about 30 seconds, but the ends have lasted months and I haven't had any trouble with small chunks breaking off.
Also, it smells delightfully like vanilla.

Be careful with this oneI had gotten 2 of these ine for my english bulldog which has been fine. The other is for my doberman who chees every thing to pieces. Although he really likes this toy we found he was able to unscrew it and found all the pieces scattered as he was chewing on it. We now check it daily to make sure it is screwed tightly and keep an eye in him. The bristles have also fallen out. Over all he does enjoy it and has not broken the bone we just make sure we are in the room while he enjoys it

My dog loves this.I was concerned since I had read of dogs chewing it and getting the bristles off and in their mouth. She is a small dog (15 lbs) but has chewed up many toys but I am glad I took a chance and got it. She loves it and her teeth look nice and clean. I have been trying to brush her teeth but this seems to do a much better job.
Great idea to get there teeth clean while they enjoy chewing.

Great toy for dogs that love to chew!Bought these (medium size) for two of my pit bulls and after a couple of weeks, they are still in tact! Had to put one back together for one of them - he twisted it apart while chewing. The other tried to bury his. Until now, this is the only toy not shredded to bits after just a day or two! Yay!

Happy Hound Dog!My Coonhound is absolutely in love with this toy! He chews it even when there isn't a treat in it. I think he likes the feeling of the nubs on his gums and the sound the bristles make when he chews. Like the other Busy Buddy toys, the plastic is smooth and nice and sturdy.
