Much Quieter than expected. My dog didn't spook at all when I turned it on and started getting her used to the sound. She still doesn't like things near her feet

Much Quieter than expected. My dog didn't spook at all when I turned it on and started getting her used to the sound. She still doesn't like things near her feet but it looks and sounds different enough from the regular hand nail clippers that she tolerates it which is a small miracle. Definitely, recommend following instructions to introduce the grinder very slowly if your dog has had bad experiences with nail clipping but a very good option to try for your dog if you can't use regular clippers.

This does exactly what it says it will. It’s a quiet nail grinder. It’s not silent because that’s not possible for this tool. Comes with a tip for smaller dogs or people who haven’t used a grinder for pets nails before. sort of acts like a buffer for larger nails. The lights on the grinder are very bright. My dog has black nails but for light color nails I imagine these bright lights would allow you to see the quick. High recommend!

Quiet little vibration to my hand fits in my hand well I’ll update once try it out a few times on my standard poodles Boston and Shih Tzu a few times. Definitely like weight size and all for my hands considering I can’t grasp items large heavy or that vibrate a lot.

Our breeder demonstrated how to use the trimmer. She commented on how nice the light was for finding the quick, light weight in hand, and trimmed nicely. No problem with the noise level but, if you plan on using for two doggies for a quick grind, only one per day as the battery barely lasts long enough to complete

I was skeptical but thought I would give it a try based on reading the reviews. My dog is very skittish about letting me cut his toenails because We’ve had bad

I was skeptical but thought I would give it a try based on reading the reviews. My dog is very skittish about letting me cut his toenails because We’ve had bad experiences with cutting too much of his nail with clippers. I gave him treats and let him sniff it first. Then I turned it on and touched it to my own nails. Then I lightly touched his nails with it. He did not seem bothered by the sound at all. He even let me do some light grinding on the first day. I stopped when he decided he had enough, (I lightly filed all ten front nails) I think the main thing is to start gradually, don’t force it, and just let the dog get used to it. Plus positive reinforcement with lots of treats and pets.
