This fountain has been transformative and wonderful for keeping my senior kitty hydrated and me less stressed. My cat loves to dip his paws in his water to make sure it’s super clean before he drinks. So small bowls weren’t cutting it. I was putting water for him in a basin that would collect hair, dust and slime within a few hours, and I work full-time so kitty would sometimes wait until I’d come home, clean the basin and hold it to his face with fresh water in it. This would stress me out and putting multiple basins around the house was not helping. Then I ordered this fountain and it’s changed the game - kitty now drinks regularly as needed. I only have to clean it once a week and cleaning is fast. The little glowing window in the front attracts my cat and keeps me informed on how much kitty has been drinking/ when it’s time to refill. Very happy with this purchase.

Cat's chin acne cleared up

I bought three different stainless steel water fountains for my cats and dog. They all have benefits and disadvantages so it really just depends what your needs

I bought three different stainless steel water fountains for my cats and dog. They all have benefits and disadvantages so it really just depends what your needs are. What I like about this one is the little window so you can see if the water is getting low. I also have one that is cordless but every once in a while I forget to charge it and the water stops. This one just stays plugged in and continues to run. The cordless one is good if you need to put it somewhere without an outlet nearby though. This one holds around 3 quarts which is a good amount for our multicat and one dog household. It needs to be topped off about twice a week and the manufacturer recommends that it be cleaned and the filters changed every two weeks. It's not that hard to take a little brush and scrub it out once a week so that's what I do. After getting these stainless steel fountains my cat's black chin acne totally cleared up. I still have a hard time believing that crud isn't still there every time I scratch his chin. I also have a cat that would only drink out of the faucet before. I did not know if he would adapt to this but he drinks out of the fountain most of the time now. I've had this one running continuously for several months and it's still functioning well. One thing I don't like if I'm being picky is that the holder for the filter is a little bit hard to open if you have bass player fingers.

Great Quality

I needed to replace a previous water fountain that my cat, Nova, adored. It was plastic though, and after some time (a couple of years) it just wouldn’t get or stay

I needed to replace a previous water fountain that my cat, Nova, adored. It was plastic though, and after some time (a couple of years) it just wouldn’t get or stay clean. I liked the idea of this Casufy water fountain being stainless steel. I also like the “faucet” attachment, as my cat loves drinking from the sink. It holds a good amount of water, and has an easily viewable “window” to see the water level from the outside, and clear markings on the the inside to indicate “min” and “max” water levels. You do have the soak the filter for 5 minutes before placing it in the holder, which was different than my previous one where you just rain it under water for 20 seconds or so. All in all, I’m really pleased! My cat took to it really quick- I hope that the quality continues, and that it proves to be easy to clean and care for! :)

The water part is now solved with the fountain. I was using a large plastic bowl, the cats would drink, but also dip dirty paws into the water. The fountain has solved that problem. Just as long as the pump does not fail. Cats now have 100% filtered water for drinking.

totally silent and the perfect size

our last fountain was bigger and that usually just made it easier to forget to clean it on time so i actually think the size for this one is perfect for me personally

our last fountain was bigger and that usually just made it easier to forget to clean it on time so i actually think the size for this one is perfect for me personally. my two cats drink from it but its so quiet that my dog actually seemed interested even though she didn’t like the last one because the water made noise. i also like the window that shows the water level, another feature my previous fountain didn't have. all in all this was a huge upgrade for me at a great price.

My little dog uses it no problem but my cats think it is witchcraft and are still getting used to it. Very nice design and is easy to clean. Only comes with one filter so you will need to order replacement filters in order to replace every 2 weeks as recommended.

I needed to entice my senior felines to drink more water, so in addition to the multiple water bowls around my home, I started searching for a fountain. So in addition to the reviews of this product, I purchased this fountain because it is stainless steel which is hygienic for my cats. Just as everyone has stated, it is very easy and quick to assemble and it runs so quietly and I like the added ambience of the blue light. I like that it comes with a lifetime warranty. I already have a friend that is impressed with it and plans on purchasing one. An added note, they suggest replacing the filter every 1 to 2 weeks and the sponge 3 to 4 weeks. Since it doesn't include additional filters or sponges, you'll have to place an order right away.

Design issue concern

First time Chewy buyer; fountain looked like good option for my cat, but after cleaning and reassembling I found plastic shavings where the pump bracket attaches to aluminum water tray (no way to under-tighten bracket to avoid shavings on metal cutout edges). Explained my concern to Sika (?) with Chewy, who happily provided a full refund. May not be an issue for some but I don't want to risk a potential problem. Thanks Chewy!
