The good thing about this is that there's a big area for the food--most of the raised cat food bowls I've seen have a small fairly deep area so that my cats who

The good thing about this is that there's a big area for the food--most of the raised cat food bowls I've seen have a small fairly deep area so that my cats who don't like their whiskers messed with don't like them. However, the bad thing is that the lip is VERY shallow--maybe a couple of centimeters--and it does nothing to stop the dry food from going everywhere.
