Can these be used in the microwave?

This bowl is made of melamine. Melamine is a very safe material, and it is widely used for outdoors and kids tableware. But in general, melamine should not be microwaved, because when exposed to high temperatures the chemicals from melamine may get transferred to food. That mainly concerns humans, who eat large portions and enjoy hot meals. As for cats, you will probably need to heat up their food only for a few seconds, in which case the bowl will not get hot. Please use your discretion, depending on how often and how much you need to microwave it.

Love that they don't scoot, notch on side of each bowl make them so easy to pick up, clean up nice and the rings inside of bowl seem to make eating the canned food

We stared feeding her on a silicone baking mat just so it wouldn't end up on smeared on the floor. My Cat eats with her paws....Until, I bought these bowls. Husband even made comment "oh boy just what wr need more bowls". To our surprise she ate from them! 1st time she tried eating from them she was use to her old ways.
