Cheaply designed Scratching post
It seems like we just got this and our one cat stopped using it because of a poor center of balance which caused it to keep falling over on him, and the other cat managed to knock the post from the cheaply made portable board base. I hope I get a full refund for this because this is the only issue I've had as a long time customer.
Nice scratching post
I bought this to replace an old, tired scratching post. Of course, as any cat owner knows, there's always the fear that the cat(s) will not use the new post. I'm happy to say my "young lady" is very satisfied with her new scratching post. I think it looks nice and seems very sturdy. Worth the price.
Don't buy this
Typically a scratching post like this lasts at least a year in my house. This one started falling apart the first week we had it. The post itself is cardboard and the rope is not secured to it very well. Do not recommend.
Holding up great!
This scratching post is holding up super well to my cat's abuse, and he really loves it. I've gotten other posts before and he's wrecked them in short order, but this one is only just now showing a little wear after many months of regular use. I definitely feel like I've gotten my money's worth!
Took almost a year for my two cats to destoy it.
I have two young cats that loved to scratch my furniture. Once I got this scratching post they left the furniture alone. I ordered this scratching post on March 22, 2022 and now on March 11, 2023 I am ordering a new one. As a previous reviewer stated, it did start to shed, but it didn't start doing that until about a month ago. I am looking forward to a new one.

Two out of my three cats love this. Although my oldest is OG and unfortunately he still prefers the actual carpet on the stairs. (Argh!) The one who’s obsessed with sleeping under the Christmas tree has made this his new sleeping pad, guess he thinks it’s his short Christmas tree. I have two of these, the one on the hardwood floors seems to slide around a little bit but I could always put some anti-slip pads up under it, and I just haven’t gotten around to it. But in the same breath it gets used, swung around and demolished on a regular basis and has held up fairly well. Bonus, it’s cheap. Not cheap as in quality, but cheap as in price. Plus it’s super easy to put together (5 mins) and comes apart so once they over use one piece of it just rearrange the way it’s put together and they have new scratching area. Overall 100% it’s a win-win. Just buy it already, if it saves one furniture scratch, it’s worth it.

All I saw was 'Fleece' and added it to my cart. It is made of sisal for the post. I was looking for fleece or carpet material. My cats won't touch it. Ordered carpet to cover the post.
Didn't include screws
I bought this with high hopes, but it didn't even have the screw to build it. I have a rubber band around one of the rope pieces, which probably held the screws in the factory or shipping part, but I got 0 hardware to put this together.
Great scratching post
This is an excellent scratching post for the price. It was easy to assemble, and my cat loves it.
Great product
I ordered this for my two cats. It is taller than the ones we already have and they like this one better. The rope is also fatter and they seem to like that.
