No more flipping food out of the bowl!

I have a 17-pound Cairn Terrier with poor eyesight and missing teeth. No matter what type or size of food bowl I used, many pieces of her food would get flipped

I have a 17-pound Cairn Terrier with poor eyesight and missing teeth. No matter what type or size of food bowl I used, many pieces of her food would get flipped up and out of the bowl and onto the floor while eating. This shallow, tilted bowl, with its particular texture, has stopped all that, and I can tell she is having a much (much!) better eating experience. Also, I was inspired by another reviewer's recommendation to combine this dish with the ceramic Neocoichi Tilted Stress Free Raised Dog Food Bowl, which elevates my dog's eating experience to the perfect height. Both are great products that I wish I had found sooner!

I have several cats and I support a feral colony. These plates are great. Wide surface with low edges prevents whisker fatigue, the material grips just enough so wet food doesn’t slide around on the plate and the plate doesn’t slide across the floor, and the graduated edge catches the food so it stays on the plate and the kitties can get every last bite. And they’re dishwasher safe, which is a must. I wish these weren’t so expensive, but I understand why they are. Definitely recommend. Maybe there will be a bulk pricing option in the future?

These dishes surpassed my expectations. I didn’t want to buy them at first because they were pricey. But glad I did. My 3 cats eat every morsel of food off these dishes. No more wasted food. They are so easy to clean and I feel good about not hurting the cat’s sensitive whiskers while they are trying to eat. And actually I am saving money and helping the environment. No more paper bowl buying and tossing out. Love these dishes and so do my furry loved ones.

My cat has bowel motility issues and I started to give her wet food more regularly. She has always been food motivated but, with age and her other health issues, she had started to not finish her wet food meals. She would also slide the food up and out of her bowl, even after trying multiple different bowls. This Ecoleo bowl has helped me to get her to eat all of her food, which is necessary because thats how she gets her meds. Miss Kitty and I both definitely recommend this bowl!

Our older small dog, 20-ish pounds, has had numerous extractions due to dental disease. After his last dental, he was making quite the mess while eating out of his metal bowl. This silicone bowl fits nicely into his metal bowl, which slightly raises it and with the slight tilt, helps keep food from flicking out of the bowl. I also purchased an easy to clean mat that he is able to lick and clean up what food he does flick out of the bowl.

I was skeptical but always open to trying new things. Whisker fatigue is not why I purchased this. My outdoor kitty (FIV + so he can't join our inside gang)is a very messy eater, especially after having a few teeth extracted. The ridges on the bowl really keep food from being pushed over the edge and the slight tip helps keep the wet food closer to him as he eats, so he gets to eat more of his food! Not sure how well this would work with kibble, though. But with wet food, I am now a believer.

I didn't understand why my cats stopped eating all of their wet food. Because when they were kittens they devoured it all. At first I thought it may have been the flavor, but when I switched to a similar flavor to their kitten food, one of them still wasn't eating all of the wet food portion but sometimes he did. It was confusing. That's when I remembered about whisker fatigue. I had to look for a specific dish that would fit the elevated bowls I had for them and this plate is PERFECT! They eat all their food up and it saves me time and energy from trying to keep putting their old dish in front of them or hold in a certain angle to help them finish. Not to mention I didn't have to be concerned about why they weren't eating all of their wet food because they eat all of it now!

I like the design of the flat bowl, only problem is I have a couple messy cats that shove kibble off while eating, so constantly having to sweep around it. If it had a bit of a higher lip may work better but cats go to the bowl that is higher off ground so I’ll probably get another one of those. Would probably work well using wet food but my cats prefer dry.
