I bought this for my elderly 15 year old Manx kitty. She temporarily decided she didn’t need to climb into a regular sized litter box. She is using just fine but the favorite user is my younger very large kitty and it truly fits him better too. Would absolutely buy again. Well worth every cent!

I got this box for my one cat that started leaving his "offerings" in unwelcome places several months ago. He's a 20 lb. tabby beastie. Three vet visits to check for any health or physical issues...conclusion: he's being lazy. So, I'm trying this box. All 9 of the other cats really like it and use it, of course, ha ha! Not the tubby tabby. Not giving up, perhaps he'll start. This box is plenty big and very easy for the cats to step in/out. Tabbykins is on his weight-loss journey and the others are loving the new box! Approved by 9 out of 10 cats!

Excellent Product For Cats With Arthritis But........

I have several senior cats in their mid to late teens now and they seem to have difficulty climbing into the jumbo sized PetMate litterboxes I have, so I purchased

I have several senior cats in their mid to late teens now and they seem to have difficulty climbing into the jumbo sized PetMate litterboxes I have, so I purchased two of these litterboxes to try. Senior litterboxes are quite pricey, so I went with this selection, as it is a reasonably priced option, and I wanted to see if my cats would use a senior litterbox first before investing $70 in one. I am pleased to say that one of my cats who always used the bathroom on the floor now uses the litterbox. My only complaint is I wish the sides were a bit higher, as sometimes my cats urinate over the sides, so I put a pee pad under these litterboxes in case any urine runs over the sides. Apart from this, this litterbox is very sturdy, low enough for them to climb in, easy to clean, and spacious enough for my seniors to turn around. I highly recommend.

My beloved cat Bliss had a stroke last month and has suffered weakness on her left side as a result. She’s a stubborn girl, so she insists on getting around on her own, but it was hard to watch her struggle to climb in and out of the litterbox. I wasn’t sure a litterbox with a lowered lip would be a good idea - I worried we’d have litter everywhere. But it’s been a great decision for accessibility and there hasn’t been any significant mess. Worth buying when you have a cat who’s having a little trouble getting around.

Took my cat to the vet due to some health issues. Turns out she has arthritis in her hips and it was affecting her ability to go to the bathroom. She was having accidents right outside her litter box like she just couldn’t make it. After switching to this litter box she’s been going much more frequently. It has and easily accessible opening right in the middle of the pan and it’s long and wide perfect for your cat to have plenty of room to go potty. It does cause a bit of a mess since there is no lid but it is so worth it for my cat to comfortably go to the bathroom. I recommend this to a friend who also has an elderly cat with arthritis and they said it has been so good for them! Highly recommend

Our long-haired girl (15-16yo) was recently diagnosed with kidney disease + UTI. We needed to switch from clumping clay to crystal litter. This litter box was the perfect accompaniment for the change: the low entry is easy on her arthritis, and the spacious size gives her plenty of room to maneuver comfortably. She accepted it immediately and has used it consistently since it arrived 3+ weeks ago. (She now prefers it to her former box.) One caveat before you order = measure the space where you plan to install it. The entry lip made this box slightly too wide for her large litter cabinet, but we fortunately have a closet space nearby that just accommodates it.
