We have 2 male cats that are very large and no matter how big the litter box we got them was, they'd end up peeing over the back edge onto the wall. We had to put pee pads on the wall to catch it. Then I discovered these and tried them out and there's NO MORE pee on the walls! These pee shields work great!

Easy to set up and remove

I like that they are translucent so the cats can see through them. I also like that they have Velcro so I can remove them for cleaning and then put them back. Two

I like that they are translucent so the cats can see through them. I also like that they have Velcro so I can remove them for cleaning and then put them back. Two things that could be better: I had to use the extra pieces of Velcro to connect the tops in the corners, and the makes the corners curve in at the top, reducing some space for the cats to move around in. Also, I have a large litter box and so the side panels don’t reach to the end. There’s about 4-5 inches of unprotected space on the sides, so of course one cat has already figured out she can pee over the sides there.

My boy cat pees standing up so he stands in the litter box and pees straight backwards because he does not squat. I don’t know why, he’s not spraying, and he is neutered, he’s just weird. I got the highest litter boxes ever and he still would pee out of them. These shields definitely work. You do have to overlap them tho, because the pee will go through the cracks. But I can literally hear the pee stream hitting the shield, which would otherwise be hitting the wall, and then it drops down into the litter and makes a normal litter clump.

This is EXACTLY what I needed!

My cat is a big boy and sometimes misses the back of his litterbox when he pees. I didn't know what I could do to solve that problem until I found the Pee Pee Shield!

My cat is a big boy and sometimes misses the back of his litterbox when he pees. I didn't know what I could do to solve that problem until I found the Pee Pee Shield! It is so simple and completely solves my problem. The best part is that it's secured to the litter box with velcro, meaning I can take the shields off to clean and replace them as needed. Definitely recommend!!

No more messy floors

So Far, So Good!!!

We have 2 4-yr old female cats. One is larger and prefers to stand partially outside the box to pee so we cannot have a cover. Her sister recently started spraying when peeing in the box. We tried these, and they’ve worked like a charm so far. The Velcro is secure - hoping it stays secure over time as we remove it for cleaning but so far so good!

Wish I would have thought of this

This thing works like a charm! Our older cat feels the need to pee standing up, rather than squatting. Consequently, even with a high surround on our litter box,

This thing works like a charm! Our older cat feels the need to pee standing up, rather than squatting. Consequently, even with a high surround on our litter box, she still manages to get urine over the top or through the junction of the surround with the litter box bottom. This product fixed the problem. And what made it even better for me, she only does it towards the back of the box. So I used only one section of the shield. Attached it to a clean litter box, filled it with our regular depth of litter and no matter what, all cat pee stays in the box, thanks to the guard. Very happy. Will save me from replacing the Litter House every year!

I honestly thought this worked in theory but not in practicality. Well, so far so good. Easy to install, stays in place, and best of all, with one cat of my three who likes to be a litter box artist, this was a win. I would have given 5 stars but I thought it was a bit pricey for the product even though it works. I'm just hoping it will hold up.

Answer to my long time problem

One of my cats has a tendency to stand while she pees and as a result the urine often goes over the edge and outside the box. I have tried getting bigger boxes

One of my cats has a tendency to stand while she pees and as a result the urine often goes over the edge and outside the box. I have tried getting bigger boxes with higher sides but some how, the problem continued. I have tried all kinds of make shift solutions, like taping up plastic "curtains" against the wall, but that only worked for part of area. These plastic shields have solved my problem! Not one incident since I put them up! I wish there were different sizes as they are not quite long enough for my large boxes and the corners require taping, so I have improvised a bit, but these are a wonderful invention!
