At first it was fine, we are about a month in and now there is a pool of water at the base all the time. I now put it in a quiche pan to hold the water. I'm looking for a new water fountain. I had used Pioneer fountains before and they worked well, I would recommend those. My problem is that the dog I have is a likely a short termer and I don't want to spend a lot of money. Pioneers are kind of pricey but I never had a leak problem.
I like this water fountain and what's more important, one of the cats likes it too (the other is shy of new things). The only thing I found confusing was some of the directions for putting it together. Fortunately, the photo of the complete fountain made more sense than the instructions. All is well and I'm happy with it.
