I used the plastic flower catit fountain for years with routine cleanings and filter changes. Decided to upgrade to this and now I'm tossing it after just a few months. I should've listened to the reviews - you have to keep this full to overflowing for the water to burble at the top. This has resulted in near constant overflowing or a bucket of water that sit below the metal top. Idk what the pump is doing, but not enough is what I'd call it. I'm so glad I had a mat under this thing or my floors would be RUINED.

Doesn’t attract attention

We tried and tried to get our kitten to like this but unfortunately she doesn’t care for it and the sound of the pump distracts her. Every time she gets close enough

We tried and tried to get our kitten to like this but unfortunately she doesn’t care for it and the sound of the pump distracts her. Every time she gets close enough to drink out of it she goes away and prefers to drink out of a normal bowl. I had to opt for another fountain as this one was a flop.

Goodbye feline acne

One of my cats developed a severe case a feline acne and the only thing it could have come from was the plastic water fountain, as everything else is stainless steel

One of my cats developed a severe case a feline acne and the only thing it could have come from was the plastic water fountain, as everything else is stainless steel. This fountain has been wonderful and his chin is completely healed! Plus it is so much easier to clean than the other fountain. Highly recommended.
