For years, our household relied on the same brand of cat litter, but recently, we started experiencing some issues. My three cats began exhibiting unwanted behaviors, such as litter box avoidance and creating messes outside of their designated areas. Recognizing the potential link to the litter, I decided to explore alternative options. I chose CatSpot, drawn in by its advertised chemical-free and fragrance-free formula, which was a significant selling point for me. From the outset, I appreciated the ease of handling the bag; it was well-designed and easy to manage. The litter itself impressed me with its fine texture and complete absence of dust, which is a huge plus for maintaining a clean environment. I was also very pleased with how well it clumps, making clean-up quick and efficient. Most importantly, it seems my cats have responded positively to the switch and are now using their litter box as intended.

There's nothing good I can say about this litter

I'm switching from Tidy Cats Lightweight because of the dust. This litter has just about the same amount of dust. It's almost 30% heavier than Tidy Cats Lightweight,

I'm switching from Tidy Cats Lightweight because of the dust. This litter has just about the same amount of dust. It's almost 30% heavier than Tidy Cats Lightweight, although I understand that it's not advertised as lightweight. It's still lighter than regular clay litter though. The clumps fall apart and I have to take time to sift out the small pieces of pee debris. And speaking of pee, this litter has terrible odor control. I walked into the room and I thought a cat had peed somewhere else, and it turns out it's just the pee odor coming from the litter box. And I clean my litter twice a day, every day! All this, and it's also very expensive. So this litter is a great big nope for me.

Doesn’t clump

We will buy again.

We’ve tried wood pellets which don’t really clump at all and we’ve tried the expensive chemical clumping litter which smells terrible. So why not try fragrance/chemical

We’ve tried wood pellets which don’t really clump at all and we’ve tried the expensive chemical clumping litter which smells terrible. So why not try fragrance/chemical free all natural? It clumps decently. It tracks less than the wood pellets. The big boy went right to it choosing it over the expensive chemical brand.

My cats seem to like this litter, and I also like the fact that it does not smell when they urinate on it. The consistency of the litter is like fine sand, so it tends to accumulate near the entrance of the box (a completely different situation from the wood chip pellets I usually use), but it's not bad. My one criticism is that when my babies urinate on this litter, it doesn't form a cohesive clump, and breaks up when I try to scoop it, which I don't like at all. Since I am not a fan of clumping litter in general, this isn't something I will purchase again.

I was so happy to see a cat litter that was lightweight and chemical free. It makes me feel good letting my kitty use a plant based litter that also absorbs the odors so we are both happy. I am also happy that the litter is mostly dust free which means less of a mess for me to clean. I recommend this litter from CatSpot to anyone who wants to provide the best for their furbabies.

Clumps up

I am impressed with this clumping cat litter. We have 3 cats so I keep 2 litter boxes at all times and clean them daily. This is a dust free litter which is great,

I am impressed with this clumping cat litter. We have 3 cats so I keep 2 litter boxes at all times and clean them daily. This is a dust free litter which is great, the litter seems to clump well so I can go scoop out all the things. The cats didn't seem to mind the change and I've yet to have to change the entire box.

The clumping action seems to be very effective, and the litter box is staying remarkably clean. Furthermore, I appreciate the reduced odor compared to previous litters.
