I was looking for something to supplement my girl who. Was on soaked Timothy hay plus minimal grain to get supplements into her. Weight loss became an issue ,this feed gives them the protein they need to maintain muscle, is low in sugar and starch for the IR horse. My girl loves it . I have just started my first bag and am anxious to see a change in her overall appearance ..

excellent for easy keepers

I have a gelding that is the quintessential easy keeper, and has had laminitic issues for the past couple years. He was getting just a helping of chopped forage

I have a gelding that is the quintessential easy keeper, and has had laminitic issues for the past couple years. He was getting just a helping of chopped forage to keep him occupied while my other horses were eating and a vitamin/mineral supplement for nutritional needs. I've used Cavalor in the past, and when I saw this product on Chewy, I thought it would be a good addition to his meals to offer some variety without adding calories. He gobbles it up and I love how yummy it looks.
