Chewy Stews have a tab top can, which allows you to open them without a can opener. To open a can with a tab top, firmly grip the can with one hand and use your thumb or the edge of another object like a spoon to lift the tab upwards. Then, pull the tab back towards you, away from the can's rim, to break the seal. You can then peel the lid back, or continue pulling the tab to remove the lid completely.
