This is the cat food they provided at the shelter

After having a different favorite dry food, Blackie has reverted to the kibble supplied at the shelter. He has moist food 3x a day but he does love this one again

After having a different favorite dry food, Blackie has reverted to the kibble supplied at the shelter. He has moist food 3x a day but he does love this one again. I set out 3 kinds of kibble for him each day but he has gone back to Chicken Soup for the Soul. It's hard to argue with a cat. Although my dogs have been willing to both try and eat every kind of dog food, as any cat parent knows, domestic felines can be fussy. I didn't realize this was the hairball dry food because he has never had hairballs. He tolerates his daily brushing. But perhaps he's been getting an assist. All I can tell you is that this dry food is cat approved.

our picky cat loves it and we do keep another brand out as well and she only goes to this one...4 cats with a buffet of food.. I like that she enjoys the chicken

My cat, Cotton, used to be an indoor/outdoor cat when we lived in the forest. After moving to a new, hotter state we had to make him a full-time indoor cat due to him having long fur. Cotton was diagnosed with IBS as a kitten, and can't handle grains. This food has actually helped his hairball control since transitioning to an indoor cat, and his bowel movements have very much leveled out, unlike competing brands like Sheba who continued to give him issues. I would definitely recommend this for any adult indoor cat, or any fur baby with IBS. The packaging certainly didn't lie.
