My bernedoodle already loves her Jolly Egg so I knew she would love a hersing ball. This one is a bit smaller and less expensive than the real herding balls which about $65. So far she has not pierced it with her claws or teeth. 10/10 recommend!

I blew up to the specifications on the package. My medium sized dog chewed through in less than a minute. The previous ball we had lasted longer (20 or so plays and he loved it), but this one lasted less than a minute. A shame, the first one was so great, please make the exterior more durable.

The materials

We've had plenty of Chuck it toys for these guys and they have held up well but we've never found a heard ball that would. We purchased this ball and it is TOUGH!

They cannot bite it to puncture but can herd it and nip at it mimicking natural instincts. Thank you for making tough products at affordable prices.

Almost survived

Great for the standard chewers but the family menace destroyed it after 20 min. To be fair it usually only takes her 5 min for "indestructible toys"

Whomever created this design

Whomever came up with the design for this ball should have to watch my border collie trying to play with the deflated ball after just one day.

Not for GSDs

I had just gotten it a few days ago. He played with it, and all seemed fine. Today I saw that it looked flat. I don't know how he did it, but he put a hole into

Absolute game changer!

This ChuckIt Big Air ball is a complete game changer for my German Shepherd. This is Ball #2 as the first one popped (my dog’s fault as much as I hate to admit it)

This ChuckIt Big Air ball is a complete game changer for my German Shepherd. This is Ball #2 as the first one popped (my dog’s fault as much as I hate to admit it). So for all those who left reviews stating the ball wasn’t well made, or that their dog popped it, read on. The manufacturer’s poor instructions are ultimately to blame for failures with this ball. They advise to inflate it to 14 inches and 3.0 psi. Well, they don’t give you a way to measure the psi.. I sent 2 queries to their customer service dept - written questions only, no phone, of course - and it took 2 queries for them to even respond. I’m not sure why I hadn't just given up. Then their wishy washy response to “how to measure to their 3.0 PSI” instructions was responded with just make sure to inflate to 14 inches. Seriously? Again, SO glad I hadn’t given up! I decided to inflate ball #2 until it was too difficult to inflate anymore. That did the trick! My dog cannot puncture this ball. Sad that one ball had to be lost to learn that. I have a high drive dog, GS, and have never been able to exercise her as much as this Big Air ball. She literally goes until she is panting so hard that she takes a break. (Suggest you limit their intake of water after playing with us ). When our play is done, I literally have to put the ball away where she can’t get to it. She is so focused on chasing this ball that she sees nothing else. Including when a guest visiting our house. Unheard of. If she doesn’t lose 5 lbs over the next six months I’ll be shocked (she can afford to lose a few). My walking/running her, throwing a ball back-and-forth 50 times, her retrieving & swimming in the pool, nor play date dates have been able to wear her out to the extent at this toy has. Absolutely amazing. Drawback - it would not work without a fenced in yard. At least for my high drive dog. She would literally run into the street to chase this ball, so an invisible fence would be out. Out of curiosity, and to my dog’s dismay, let my neighbors lab play with it for a few minutes. Their dog was unimpressed. Maybe if I had gone over and engaged the dog with the toy it would’ve been different. Absolutely love this toy! Purchased another one to have on hand because I don’t want to find out what life is like if this one breaks.

Good quality just didn’t last long with my dog

My shepherd destroyed this in minutes. Fully pumped up nice and firm but she still managed to kill it.

Simon will beg at the trunk of my car for me to pull this out at the park and absolutely loves chasing after it and nosing it around. It's nice and lightweight and the outer cover means it stands up to him using his "hands" (aka teeth) to carry it around. The cover does get pretty gross and I wish it was removeable to pop into the washer, but I think that would also create weak points that he could destroy it, so I just hose it off from time to time.

Nice herding ball

The first day I got this my Aussies wanted to eat it. The chased it around the yard trying to get their mouth around it, it was actually rather amusing. Since then

The first day I got this my Aussies wanted to eat it. The chased it around the yard trying to get their mouth around it, it was actually rather amusing. Since then they have not paid attention to it whatsoever. They are 6 months old so hopefully they will grow to like it. From the massive teeth attack, I would have to say it is very durable.
