Our Puppy is Obsessed!

We got this toy to try and help our extremely active golden Irish setter puppy because she's been digging a lot and we were desperate for any possible solution

We got this toy to try and help our extremely active golden Irish setter puppy because she's been digging a lot and we were desperate for any possible solution. Well, this came home and she was obsessed after the first five minutes. Now, every time she goes through our garage, she stops to beg for the toy and sometimes tries to steal it if we don't get it ourselves. One thing to note, the bulb attachment didn't last very long, but I can't be mad about it. The dog pulled it so hard the tab came right out. That being said, both the ribbon and rope attachments have fared much better. We favor the ribbon one because it's easier wrestle away, for what it's worth!

Long Lasting Fun!

This toy is incredible. "Flirt poles" were silly to us as an idea because they resemble our cats toys but it was recommended to us by our trainer. I knew our puppy

This toy is incredible. "Flirt poles" were silly to us as an idea because they resemble our cats toys but it was recommended to us by our trainer. I knew our puppy was going to be big so I tried to find one that seemed like it would be able to keep up. This has become her absolute favorite toy and one of the easiest ways to keep her entertained! She is now 8 months old and we still play with this everyday. She requests it for play time and it's something I can do standing or sitting so it's easy to oblige! And, we were right! This one is SUPER durable. I can tell even when she's bigger it'll still be her favorite!

Fun but toys are not sturdy

This is my 2nd flirt pole. I love the metal handle and the grip. They are very sturdy. Today we used it for the 2nd time and the connector piece to the toy we had

This is my 2nd flirt pole. I love the metal handle and the grip. They are very sturdy. Today we used it for the 2nd time and the connector piece to the toy we had on it (the tail one) ripped right out of where it was sewn in. I know it came with other attachments but we didn’t bring those out with us so it was a bit of a bummer for it to rip less than 20 minutes into using it total. I plan to sew it back on, but for the price you hope the whole thing is a bit more durable.

Short and heavy

It is heavier than the Squishy Face pole, and shorter, so then my dog is barely interested. Returning.

Will withstand my heeler

I was nervous it would be cheap and flimsy and break after a few sessions. Thankfully, it seems to be holding up really well! The pole is sturdy and my heeler hasn’t

I was nervous it would be cheap and flimsy and break after a few sessions. Thankfully, it seems to be holding up really well! The pole is sturdy and my heeler hasn’t ripped through any of the lures, at least yet, after several good sessions. My boy loves it.

Heavy pole makes it less functional

I have two young, active dogs who love chasing things. I purchased this flirt pole to help channel some of their chase drive. I have used homemade flirt poles

I have two young, active dogs who love chasing things. I purchased this flirt pole to help channel some of their chase drive. I have used homemade flirt poles (read: horse lunge whip with plastic bottle at the end) with other dogs, and even when training a cheetah in the past with a fair amount of success. Even though it is very durable, the metal pole on this one is heavy and makes it more challenging to flip the pole around to get the desired movement from the lure. I tested each of the lures out on both of my dogs and they each checked them out, then went back to eating grass with no interest in chasing them. On the plus side, my labrador LOVES the braided rope attachment, so at least we can play tug with that separately!
