will this work on my 5lb Pomerian the size 3 was the smallest one
What size does a 7 fit ? I have a 45lb Brittany.

The size 3 muzzle fits a nose circumference measuring 5 inches, the size 4 muzzle fits a nose circumference measuring 6 inches, the size 5 muzzle fits a nose circumference measuring 7 inches, the size 6 muzzle fits a nose circumference measuring 8 inches and the size 7 muzzle fits a nose circumference measuring 9.5 inches.
Will this muzzle help to control or stop from nipping at another dog

Way too tiny!

Made well, but purchased the size 4 for English Springer Spaniel. Not my spaniel! Maybe a King Charles Spaniel or Chihuahua. I have to return.

Muzzle size runs big

I followed instructions & measured both my dogs for these muzzles, but when I got them they were way too big, so much so that I may even need 2 sizes down. The measurements were way off.

  • Way too big around her nose & lengthwise too; covered part of her eyes.

It worked well, briefly

My 28 lb girl is reactive at first meet/greetings. This does prevent her from biting in that initial fear response (been working with a trainer for a year and have years of experience, she is a troubled rescue). The problem is that when she realized she could "dig" at it with her front paws, she shredded the mesh. The skeleton is still there but I think we need something tougher. This has nothing to do with Chewy though, you are great.

Good product

comfortable, well fitting... just what my Dobie needed to transition from reactive dog to pack animal. Kept her calm and other dogs safe. Only needed a short while till she figured out she was safe. Shouldn't be worn for long periods during exercise as there is little ability to pant and cool body. Worked perfectly for our purpose.
