Comfort Zone 2X Pheromone Formula Calming Refill for Cat Calming

For a year we used these without any issues, but the last three bottles have gotten to the halfway point and started to stink terribly. The house smells like burning crayons. It isn't the diffuser itself as we replaced that and had the same experience until we added a new bottle of liquid. It's incredibly disappointing because our cat needs this product, it makes a huge difference in his life, but what good is a product that you pay full price for but can only use half of? We will find another brand of calming diffuser to try for our poor anxiety-ridden cat. Please note that this is not a complaint about Chewy, simply the product. I have used the Feliway for years. It has helped. This is about 1/2 the price. Rumor has it that it works the same. I have found that my cats are much more relaxed when I use this. I highly recommend it... for generalized anxiety, some aggression and much less clawing of the furniture. Plus, the three of them just seem happier and more content. The one who has been aggressive has, in the past couple of days, gingerly begun to groom the other two.

I have a 6 month old partially blind kitten that is terrorizing my 3 older cats with just wanting to play all the time. He has stressed out the 9 yr old sisters, so I thought I'd try this besides catnip treats. I bought the original and plugged it in under the kitchen table where the girls tend to hid from the kitten. I had it for the 30 days and it has seemed to keep all calm with occasional outbursts from the energetic kitten but the older cats are now calmer with him around. So I ordered this refill and I found the girls taking turns laying by the diffuser since refilling it. This one definitely works for our household.

My 6-year old cat developed a urinary inflammatory problem sparked by anxiety (and is a high-anxiety cat). During a flare-up, she will urinate blood and often relieve herself on the couch as a backup to the litter boxes. While I have a cover so it's protected, correcting the behaviour has been an issue, so I decided to try these plug-ins. I tried one in the room with her litter box and found that her anxiety only really spiked when it ran out. I added one near the couch and she hasn't tried to urinate outside of her litter box since then. These are a lifesaver! I don't know if they work for all cats, but mine seems to be enjoying the relief they provide. I'm thankful for this option!

I purchased this when I first brought my kitten home. My older cat really benefited from this with the new kitten. After 5 weeks, I noticed that the kitten had started biting and rough housing more, sending my cat into hiding.. I replaced the diffusers in my living room and upstairs bedroom and within an hour, the two cats were cuddling on the couch. They both are still playful but much kinder to one another. I've continued using this and it works so well that I now have it on my autoship.

My rescue cat couldn’t handle me fostering another kitten and was so scared that she hid in a room upstairs most of the time and wouldn’t engage in activities around the house even months after the kitten was adopted. A couple of weeks after I plugged this in she started to go into the dining room but wouldn’t come around the corner to the other rooms so I added two more in adjoining rooms and eventually she made her way throughout the entire house. Her behavior is back to normal and then some. She’s happier and calmer, and has even started sleeping in new places around the house where she wouldn’t usually go. I have 10 rescue cats in my house. Some are not so friendly and don't like other cats. We have a cat door so feral cats can also come in from the cold. This keeps cat fights out of my home. I strongly reccomend when you have at least 2 cats that don't get along.

I think this product works. However I am removing one start due to the price. The refills need to be replaced often. This makes the product too expensive.

This is the second one I have bought because I ran out of the other refill and my cat walked up to it one day sniffing it like he realized something changed. I didn’t even think he acknowledged this was plugged into the room he stays in. I got it to try and see if it keeps him relaxed when I am away. He is a 15 year old mix with some breed that is known to be hyper. Since he is a senior cat, he does sleep more, but has very hyper moments and does get stressed when he needs attention. Chewy has the cheapest price, I could find for the Comfort Zone refills. Pecto is a little bit pricey.
