Don't recommend
This is very cheaply made. The wood is cheap. The screws don't fit into the holes. The hammock is too short and doesn't fit the full length. When my cat tries to sit in the hammock it collapses in too much. I agree with all of the previous reviews. Honestly somehow missed the low star rating, but wished I would have seen and read them before purchasing. DO NOT PURCHASE
Bad Experience
Parts missing, screws split the wood because the holes were too small, hooks for attaching to window are impractical and would damage sill, distance between angle supports is too wide to attach to wall studs. Can’t return since it is half assembled. Disappointed and out $30.
Disappointed
This product won't fit/work with my window framing, so I used the metal wall brackets included in package, and even with anchors the hammock pulled away from the wall. Also, the fabric stretches more than anticipated.
Janky
I returned this item. It needs a good inch or inch and a half deep lip in the window track in which to set the brackets. Not only that, there needs to be a full 3/8" thick in that track. The angle brackets that go in the track are 3/8" diameter round metal, not thin and flat. My track was shallow and narrow. Without a good solid seat in the track for the brackets, the rest was not stable. This product could be easily improved by fixing those brackets (instead of loose spinny) and making them thin, flat, and wide. Otherwise the frame is solid, the material is soft, and and the size is good.
easy assembly
This was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy. However, you can see by the picture that when my 9 pound cat lays in the hammock, there is a 2 inch to 3 inch gap on either side. She enjoys it for being able to see out the window, but can’t actually sleep or stretch out. She has almost fallen through the side a couple of times. I will need to buy fabric and make a hammock that actually fits the frame. unfortunate and a hassle.
Scam
Don't waste your time with this. Unless your cat is only 8 inches long. The product description says 22x14. Not true! 14x16 is actual size. Way too small for the average cat. Scam!
Not happy
Called cat hammock but my cat can't sit or lie in it. Cloth to flimsy
My cat loves this hammock!
We installed it in the bedroom window and put a birdfeeder in view so he has his own entertainment! It's HIS spot now. Not difficult to install.
Trash product
Hard to assemble then when you finish they just tell you to screw it into the wall
Works great
The cats like to sit in the den window & pawed at the window if it was closed. Mounted this on windsill & they are happy campers to have a place to sit/sleep if the window is closed. A bit small but they love it.
