How much dry food should I give to my 11 lb cat, who has a 3 oz can of wet food in the morning?

Hi, my cat weighs almost 10 lbs (9.8+). She gets 1/4 cup in a.m. and 1/4 cup in the evening. That’s it. The foster mom, whom I have adopted from before, told me. She’s 6 yrs old. I’ve had her 8mo= stable weight. She drinks plenty of water simply bc she eats a daily total of 1/2 cup dry. My other 2 cats had a combo. Not this one. Hope this helps >^.^<

What is the carbohydrate content? (as fed and dry matter)

I don't see an AAFCO label on this food; does it conform to AAFCO specifications?

My picky cats favorite food

I have such a picky cat on my hands. Barely eats any wet, and picky about the dry food she eats. I've tried a few different brands of food that had some better qualities

I have such a picky cat on my hands. Barely eats any wet, and picky about the dry food she eats. I've tried a few different brands of food that had some better qualities to them, or were better for managing her weight, but she just wouldn't eat them, and I've always made it back to this one. I gave it 4 stars cause I wish they had some variety in their formulas, like a senior cat option, or weight management option, but I'll manage with this one since a fed cat is best.

Theo has loved the Crave dry food for cats. The first ingredient is chicken or fish depending on variety. He definitely loves switching all 3 varieties of them

Theo has loved the Crave dry food for cats. The first ingredient is chicken or fish depending on variety. He definitely loves switching all 3 varieties of them. He loves the food so much that he’ll sink in his claws and sometimes teeth into the bag when the box is opened. Can’t leave it for 5 seconds, IT MUST go from box to cupboard immediately, otherwise I’ll be taping it upon 3-4 sides. He so happy to see a new chewy box arrive. Always hoping it’s has his Crave cat food.

I was advised by my vet to put my cats on a higher protein diet due to weight gain (this went against what I believed, but thought I’d give it a try). This is the

I was advised by my vet to put my cats on a higher protein diet due to weight gain (this went against what I believed, but thought I’d give it a try). This is the second bag of grain free higher protein food that I tried. The first one was very tiny kibble, none of my cats like little kibble, and they wouldn’t eat it, so I ordered this, bigger kibble and I thought maybe it would work. It was mixed with their old food as directed to work them up to eating it. Everything would be eaten out of their bowls EXCEPT the this food. I tried to add more of it and less of their other food. Still the same. They won’t eat it. I’m going to donate this to our local cat rescue (where one of my cats came from). I’m not saying this is a bad food, it just didn’t work for my cats (there are 3 of them and not one would eat it).
