Good quality suet for the birds
I was looking for a better deal on suet cakes and found these. I usually get a variety but these were reasonably priced so I tried them. The first thing I noticed was how “clean” they are. The cakes were not coated in coagulated fat like the ones I usually get and they pop out of the plastic easily and since we are recyclers, the plastic just requires a quick rinse to be clean for recycling. My last ones we just threw away the plastic because it was too full of fat and grease to bother trying to clean. The other thing is the birds love it and gobble them up in a matter of days. I notice the birds are choosing the suet over the quality bird food I put out, where before they would hit the suet only after the seed was gone. These suet cakes are a very good quality and since the birds love them, I’ll be continuing to buy these via my auto-ship from now on.
No melt but falls apart
Chewy is a fabulous company that I order from often but this suet is a waste of money. The suet indeed does not melt it just crumbles in a million parts. I don't know if the birds actually eat it l find it crumbled all over & replacing it daily pretty much. Would not buy this again, I don't think it contains any real suet.
Everyone loves this
I thought my birds preferred the peanut suet so I was a bit worried when I decided to try a case of this...but to my great surprise, all my backyard birds are devouring this over the peanut suet! I have titmouse, chickadee, several types of woodpeckers, mockingbird, wren...all flock to this! Will purchase again.
This suet is great for the missouri heat. It starts out really solid and clean and stays that way. The birds like it I like it so it is a win win.
Orioles love this suet!
I have been going through a suet cake a day with 4 Baltimore Orioles, pairs of Downy, Hairy and red-bellied Woodpeckers, Red-breasted and white-breasted Nuthatches, Tufted Titmice, Cardinals, Jays, etc. It is so much fun seeing all of them. I think the unusual cold has them eating more than last year.
No waste & no mess!
This is the first time I’ve purchased suet but so far I’m happy with it! I really like the fact that it’s no melt so no product is wasted and there is less mess. I can’t speak to how the birds like it, as I have the feeder in a new area and haven’t seen any visit it just yet. I received CashBack on my purchase and am participating in a CashBack program- but would likely purchase this again!
My birds loved the orange Delight ,personally my birds loves all of C&S products. I would recommend these and all of the suet cake's products. 5 star in my book!!
I put the C & S Orange Delight out for the birds and attracted an assortment of different birds. There were Finches, Robins, Woodpeckers and BlueJays. The Suet repeatedly lasted only one day outside in my feeder. The birds really seemed to love it! I recommend this to bring different varieties of birds.
Suet is a big hit
I can’t keep up! The birds love it and I have really busy feeders now. Other suet has been hit or miss. This keeps them zooming in all day long and vying for the feeder.
Are we in Florida?? You know the sunshine state is known for oranges. Anyway a nice citrusy, fruity suet that the finches, wrens, etc enjoy. No melt, no mess, which is helpful in the hotter weather. Made in the USA. ( I received cashback as part of a CashBacK campaign)
