I met this company at an event at was able to chat with them for awhile. I have been wanting to try a mostly forage based food for awhile and am so glad I gave this a shot. I have a 17h warmblood mare and she has done wonderful on this for the 3 months she’s been on it. Yes, it is powdery, but I just feed it with soaked beet pulp and my mare eats it right up. Will continue to keep feeding this.

Horse said no way

Wanted this to work but my horse wouldn’t touch it. My other horse loved this brand’s Carbbuster balancer but the picky horse said no way.

Love this product

My horse was not thrifty for a long time. I started feeding Mass No Sass and he blossomed -- looks like a million dollars. Love Love Love

Great feed Great results

I've fed Daily Dose Equine feeds off and on for years (they are local to me!). The mass-no-sass works really well for my huge OTTB gelding who does get really antsy

I've fed Daily Dose Equine feeds off and on for years (they are local to me!). The mass-no-sass works really well for my huge OTTB gelding who does get really antsy on sugary feed, but needs the right calorie count to keep his huge body moving and in condition. I mix this feed (4 lbs per day) with soaked Alfalfa & Timothy cubes.... and the same for my senior draft x mare. Love the shiny coats, great condition, and strong feet!! (I also use other DD product for my 2 IR mares)

Liked at first…

I love the ingredient list, which is why I bought it in the first place. My 12 year old Thoroughbred mare liked this feed for the first month & then slowly stopped

I love the ingredient list, which is why I bought it in the first place. My 12 year old Thoroughbred mare liked this feed for the first month & then slowly stopped eating it. By month three, she wouldn’t touch it. I tried it dry & soaked, and every level of “wet” in between. Nothing made a difference.

Want to love it, but

Love everything about this feed re: whole ingredients & no oats, but my horse did not like the powdery texture & also would not eat it moistened with water: it turned

Love everything about this feed re: whole ingredients & no oats, but my horse did not like the powdery texture & also would not eat it moistened with water: it turned into a sticky glop. I would still recommend others to try it, but just know that picky eaters might not love it.

Stale. Rancid. A waste of $40.

I ordered this for my older mare. It smelled rancid when I opened it, but I thought maybe that maybe I was just smelling a "natural" smell. My poor old mare drooled,

I ordered this for my older mare. It smelled rancid when I opened it, but I thought maybe that maybe I was just smelling a "natural" smell. My poor old mare drooled, sneezed and ran from this food. I hope they can replace it with a free, and fresh bag and I'll review it again.

Clean, exciting horse feed which adds calories

We use this to help our younger horses alomg with carbbuster for ration balancing type minerals. Mass No Sass, smells really good and makes a good combo with carbbuster

We use this to help our younger horses alomg with carbbuster for ration balancing type minerals. Mass No Sass, smells really good and makes a good combo with carbbuster for a touch of added sweet without being too much for my metabolic fat critters. We feed more of it to the young ones to help them with growing. Arabian has had 2 growth spurts since October and filled out nicer each time. Shiny coats, happy bellys, and nicer hoof structure too. It takes some getting used to because its not pelleted or artificially processed so its a looser feed, but they will figure it out. Horses get addicted to sugar just like humans. Take it out of the feed and they need some adjustment time. We wet ours down to "just the right amount" where it puffs up and becomes a beautiful mash!
