Inconsitent Quality
This seems to be a hit or miss with my two cats. The first couple of cans they ate with no problem. There seems to be an inconsistency from can to can. Some have more liquid in them. They will eat one can and the next day turn their nose up at the next can I've opened. I chose this because of the ingredient list. But it doesn't matter how healthy it is if they won't eat it. More goes in the trash then in their stomachs at the end of the day.
No by-product
This says NO by-products BUT it has bones in it!! My cat has mouth/tooth issues and CAN'T have any bones which is why I orderd this AND paid so much for it! Was VERY upset that it had bones in it
Inconsistent Quality and Size
I was wondering why my senior cat suddenly lost his appetite this last week, but then I realized it’s because we just opened the most recent case of cat food that Chewy delivered. My spouse has been feeding the cats, so I didn’t realize the huge change in the food between cases until he said something about it being “smaller and more liquidy,” and indeed it does appear to have a significantly smaller patty and was filled with more liquid than usual (the top can). I ran down to my local pet food store and they thankfully had this exact food in stock so my sweet boy can finally eat (the can pictured on the bottom). With his sensitive stomach, even slowly transitioning him to a new cat food or having quality issues with his current food causes him to vomit everywhere, so I hope Dave’s can get this food back in stock soon and figure out whatever issues they are having. I used to like this cat food, but knowing their quality is inconsistent and questionable, it definitely has me considering going through the awful process of changing foods.

My little guy was out of the American Journey food that he likes so I spent the time to find something with similar ingredients. He is really happy with Dave's Chicken & Chicken Liver.

My three cats LOVE Dave's cat food. It is the only canned food that doesn't have added guar gum which my cats hate.
Great nutrion profile
Finding a cat food with no vegetable matter at all is very hard-most companies use a lot of pea protein or add fruit and veg. Cats are obligate carnivores and don't need it and it can cause bladder stones. This is the perfect food and the cats love it! This is their new "forever" food.

So far, my cats love this
I always look at the ingredients before I buy, so Dave's was pretty good. So far, my five cats love this. I can't tell if it's because they really, really love it, or because it's a new brand. (I give my cats a different brand/flavor every day -- usually switching between five kinds.) They've had this twice now and gobbled it down both times.
Worth a Shot
Looked good but unfortunately the two girls take one bite and walk away. Tried 2 cans and got the same thumbs down.
Clean plate club
Perfect size can to feed 3 cats. Soft texture that they love and it must taste good as they lick their plates clean.
