My groomer suggested I buy this for my super shedder dog. I know it is for horses. But she recommended that I get this anyway. Well, it actually catches with every stroke and yanks out tufts of hair. My dog flinches whenever I brush against the grain. And when I brush with the grain, the brush does nothing. I hate it and stopped using it after 3 tries. What a total waste!

She has this feathery fur on her tail, ears, legs, she sheds profusely and when brushing her nothing happens, it is like the fur is too fine. But this Blade works great. We have used them for a few years and wanted a second to help at the cottage.
