Decker Manufacturing Company was established in 1878 by “Captain” A.C. Decker in Bushnell, Illinois. He moved the company from Bushnell to Keokuk, Iowa in 1884 and they continue to operate today from the plant that was constructed there in 1911. They originally manufactured barbed wire but, as markets changed, they found it necessary to diversify and began expanding into the agricultural product industry. Decker’s commitment to innovation in the agricultural market has resulted in multiple patents and product improvements, especially in the hog ring and curry comb product lines.
With over 125 years of experience, they have passionately researched, tested and improved their product lines. By paying attention to details that others may overlook, they are able to ensure that they provide the finest agricultural products available. Decker Manufacturing is known as the premier supplier of the best American-made agricultural and equine products available.
