They seem to taste pretty good. Both our male and female kitties love them. They are almost round-shaped, like a little pillows (about 1/4 in. by 1/5 in. diameter) which is easy for them to pick up and eat. They are crunchy from what I hear them. Ingredients seem to be all corn stuff, but they claim to prevent tar build up.
my cats LOVE these treats. so much so that they ripped into the bag and made a feast out of them lol! my oldest boy rudolph (4) has dental issues and has made me super aware of the dental health crisis our pets face. i try to brush his teeth every night and give him the pro den dental plaque powder to get rid of the plaque and tartar. however some nights we don’t get that great of a brush in or i’m too tired so i give him these bad boys. i can hear him crunching away on them and he always begs for me even though he eats the recommended 17. i like these more than greenies bc i can feed him less but with the same benefit of reducing the tartar. out of the VOHC treats for cats these are the ones we keep going back to. love love love!!!
My cat had so tarter built up,, and bad breath I took her to her vet, they said brush her teeth, but she needed some more, then I saw dental life, been using the product for 3. Days, teeth and gums look better, Thank you Chewy, Bella's Mom Donna
We try to buy only healthy snacks for our cat. She really enjoys the DentaLife treats and they help keep her teeth clean as well. Win-win situation.
I can hear my cat chewing on these for a good few seconds, I’m sure it does help with breaking down tartar. Bag is large so I put a smaller amount in a jar, and then seal the big bag and store in fridge. If the ingredients were higher quality it would be perfect.
I'm not a big treat giver but my cats love these. 3 of them had dental surgery so if these will keep them healthier, I'm a buyer forever!
Both of my cats love these treats and they’re so good for them. Playtime that helps with dental hygiene, the best.
Vet said this was a really great product for helping with tartar control. Yes! Is definitely a popular "treat". They like both flavors. The only issue is, the rolling around the floor at 3:00 am, as cats do. So feed them during they day and make sure you find all the treats they rolled elsewhere or you will be awoken with the new "toy".
The dental treats must have catnip in or something as my normally picky cats really gobble these up
I was nervous my cats wouldn't like these because of how round in shape they were. They LOVE these. If I forget to give them their "kitty treats" they will let me know. I've been using for a few months and you can definitely tell a difference in their breath. VOHC certified, the only kind of dental treat you should buy. The big bag really is a BIG bag
