This supplement is designed to help with dry, greasy, flaky and oily skin.

Do you apply it between the shoulder blades, kinda like flea medication, or do you apply down the spine and like rub it in?

Answer by ChewyJan 18, 2022
Break and remove the snap-off top of the pipette by folding it once forwards and once backwards, move the hairs of the animal aside and apply all of the Essential 6 spot-on, between the shoulders of the animal, on one or two spots, directly on to the skin. No massage required; a bio-diffusing agent will allow a homogeneous distribution of the product all over the body of the animal. It is recommended not to bath the animal during the 2 days before and the 2 days following the application. In case of animals with long or abundant hairs, brush the animal’s coat the day after the application, to remove any potential residues of the product and to allow an optimal distribution on the skin.

This is the second time I have tried this and was dedicated to administering it on time, as described to try to help my cat with her itching skin. There was no effect and was so smelly, she really didn’t like it. Would have been worth it, but it was a waste of money with no improvement.

This works very well for my cats coat.

I am very happy I purchased this item for my cats skin and coat. I hope this alleviates some of her itchiness. Well worth the price.

My cat threw up multiple times the day after I applied this. I believe she found a way to ingest it even though I applied it on her back/between shoulder. After doing some research online, I found out that some of the ingredients in this topical are toxic to cats (tea tree oil, peppermint oil, and others). I wouldn’t recommend this product. Stick to oral supplement instead.

It helps but I wish it would come without the scent

My cat really needs this oil to help with her dry skin but she seems to despise the smell and I wonder why it is scented to begin with since it’s for animals.
