Remember to keep plenty of fresh water available to your pet at all times.
Some pets may have sensitive stomachs and could potentially experience digestive upset from a sudden diet change. Because of this, we recommend making a gradual transition between foods. Begin with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the new food mixed with 75% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet. Feed this blend for 2-3 days and then change the mix to 50% of each for 2-3 days. Then feed 75% of the recommended daily portion of the new food with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet for a final 2-3 days before fully switching.
- For sensitive dogs, extend the period to 10 to 14 days.

3 satisfied dogs...
By tyml on Feb 14, 2021
I recently bought this because i was in a pinch with 3 bull breed dogs food goes fast and gets expensive. This month i couldn't afford the grain free food I usually buy so i had to get something that was more budget friendly. Obviously this isn't grain free however i was impressed because my dogs ate it rite up, i have always trusted diamond brand dog food, this one seems no different. 1/3 has sensitive stomach and is very picky and she wasn't effected by it at all, she was happy to eat n beg for more! This is deff a larger sized kibble so smaller dogs would have a hard time with the larger pieces. Packaging is good it is a paper/plastic combo so storage containers maybe more suitable as it I recently bought this because i was in a pinch with 3 bull breed dogs food goes fast and gets expensive. Best Dog Food Hands Down!!
By Taylin on Feb 18, 2021
I have used the puppy mix dog food from Diamond and both my goldens loved it and gained all the nutrients they needed. I upgraded to the High Energy mix just because my goldens are always working and doing things, and it’s the only food that’s working for my goldens! They love it so much too! Also with Diamond I’m able to switch mixes without it causing issues to their stomach.

Decent food on a budget
By 6CatMom on Jan 22, 2021
I have 2 German Shepherds, 2 German Shepherd Great Dane mixes and a Husky. They all eat this up with no issue or complaint. They eat a lot so I was looking for a food I could buy in 50Lb bags that wouldn't break the bank but also met their needs. This food has 24% protein, 20% fat and has 400 calories per cup. My Dane mixes run thin on other foods but their weight looks better now on this food. I also get to feed them 4 cups down from 6 cups from the SportMix they were transitioned from due to the almost 100 calories extra per cup. So I end up feeding less and the bags of food last a little longer. Overall I'm pleased and hopefully this is the last food transition I have to make with them. Everything I need and more!
By Gina on Jan 22, 2021
I have a Border Collie and an Australian Shepherd this food is great for their energy. The only thing I don't like about this is it gives my dogs bad gas if I don't mix it with their other food. Dog Chow

Loose stools
By JacqueH on Jan 18, 2021
I purchased this to add some extra fat/ calories to the dog’s diet. Flavor seemed palatable, but despite a slow transition, it seems to have given one dog very loose stools.

Catahoulas & German Shepherds.
By Katja on Dec 3, 2020
My dogs love it. I have one picky girl who ate it so I am content. I also like the bigger sized kibble as it would seem my dogs get full faster or tricked into being full faster. German Shepherd is 80lbs and Catahoulas are 90lbs+.

By Mickey on Dec 30, 2020
I feel the boxes for the dog food could have been a little bit bigger. But other than that excellent very satisfied.

What? Where? How? Why does headline have to be 10 characters?
By Scruffy on Dec 4, 2020
Got what I ordered with no issues.... And why does this have to be 50? I won't be commenting going forward unless I have something negative to say...

Good stuff
By Mack on Dec 1, 2020
My dogs really liked it but the only thing stopping me from purchasing again is that I found it cheaper at my local tractor supply.
