Does this bone stain the carpet?
Answer by ChewyFeb 21, 2020
Because this is a natural treat, you may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces.

Are these safe to handle? No risk of ecoli or salmonella?
Answer by ChewyNov 18, 2019
These bones are slow-roasted to eliminate harmful germs and bacteria and are safe to handle.

I always thought eating cooked bones was not safe for dogs. What is it about these bones that make them safe for dogs to chew on?
Answer by ChewySep 29, 2020
The marrow from the bone is digestible and safe for your pup however pets should always be supervised when chewing treats.

does it smell
Answer by ChewyMar 03, 2021
Due to this being a natural product, you may also notice a natural scent while your pal chews.

Quality control is very poor

First time buying these bones after looking through the reviews, mainly those with pictures, and believing them to be a good choice for my two 115 pound Rottweilers. Sadly I was mistaken. My first disappointment was upon removing them from the box and noticing a significant size difference between the two bones. One was of decent size which I was pleased with but the other bone was barely half the size of the first. The second issue I had was when I gave the smaller of the two bones to my female (who is not a heavy chewer in the slightest) and the thing snapped nearly in half in under 5 minutes. Not wanting to take the chance with the other one snapping with my male (who eats everything) I chucked them both in the trash. Waste of money but at least the pig ears I bought were good. :-/

It gave my dog vomiting and diarrhea twice!

What ever is coating this bone gave my dog vomiting and diarrhea twice. The first time this happened I couldn't figure out what caused it. Maybe it was a change in his food but the vet said the symptoms should not be that severe. I had this bone setup on a monthly auto-ship. When the vomiting and diarrhea happened again exactly 1 month after the first incident I realized it was this bone that was responsible. I won't buy this thing again. Maybe my dog has a more sensitive stomach but dogs are carnivores so meat and bones should not upset his stomach this much. Stay away from this thing unless you enjoy cleaning up diarrhea stains from your carpet and watching your dog vomit up all of the food he has eaten. Both visits to the vet costed about $300!

Amazing Bones!

These bones are awesome! My pitt bull is usually able to chew through other bones and snacks in 10-30 mins but this bone kept him busy for hours and it is still fully in tact! This will last him days if not weeks. My goldendoodle also really enjoyed it and stayed busy with it! It is a little messy at first while chewing the marrow but can be easily swept up. I will definitely be purchasing these again they are very strong and tasty for my doggos.

These are scary

My pyrenees took one crunch and it shatter into splinters. I’m just glad I was right there. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I had gotten a couple previously which went fine. But one time looking at sharp splinters was one too many. My thought was stuck in roof of mouth, land even worse stomach and bowel punctures. Don’t get this! It isn’t a safe product. It would be like playing roulette.

IT'S A BIG HIT

My dog has cabin fever as bad as my own. She was so excited to see this bone! She has carried it all over the house. She only weighs 22 pounds so it looked kind of large for her little mouth, but she picks it up with no problem and chews and chews and chews.

AWESOME!!!

Had to cut it in half because when it would hit the floor, sounded like a gun going off!! LOL. But when I cut it down it was not so bad. He loves chewing on it and keeps him busy all day long!!!

Long lasting joy!

My pal is still having a good time gnawing on this bone, after 11 days! He also enjoys clattering it on the hardwood floors, kind of like a baby banging pot lids together. He’s a big chewer, so something he can’t destroy is a huge plus.

Shrinking bones

I've been buying these for awhile but this time they were significantly smaller than normal. Even the packaging, which used to be a bit of a pain to remove, was loose. Sad when even dogs become victims of skimpflation.

Bigger than expected

I bought these for my dogs. They are both medium to small size dogs. The bones are a little too big for them and very thick. They love them but have difficulty chewing on them.
