Happy, Healthy
My old dog is running around like a puppy again, playing with the little dogs more. And all my dogs seem to love it. We used to feed them Purina, but age was starting to show on my 9 year old Rottie mix. He was healthy, but not full of energy or very happy. He does have some allergies that cause skin issues, but they have gone away with Diamond. I really recommend for mutts at the least, if you want high quality but at more affordable rates. But I also suggest don't forget supplements for individual dog's health. Like joint or digestive issues. But this food gives an extra boost to my dogs' energy levels. I'm really happy to finally found a healthy compromise that my pups love.
dogs do not like
This formula contains wheat flour (cheap filler). I thought it would be healthier because it is a better brand. It is no better than purina. The dogs do not like this. the boy way they will eat it is if I put meat on top of it. Then they pick the meat out and only eat half a bowl of kibbles. Not impressed with this formula. I do like the other Diamond pet foods more (the dogs like them actually).
Diamond Maintenance fuels my dog.
My dog loves Diamond Maintenance. We used it for a long time and then my local provider quit carrying it and we made a switch. When I found it was available at Chewy I placed and order and signed up for the subscription.
My Dogs won’t eat anything else!
A friend gave me 2 bags of Diamond Maintenance Formula Adult Dry Dog Food & now my dogs won’t eat anything else. They used to only eat dry food if I added wet food to it but they all devour this brand by itself.
We like it
The dogs like eating it! One dog can get overweight with other foods and is keeping the right weight with this food. The other dogs are maintaining exactly what they need. Easy on their stomachs, no digestive issues! Easy to clean up after the dogs if you know what I mean. Even the picky eater is enjoying eating this food thankfully!!! The price is good.
Gas, Super smelly loose poo
Took 2 weeks to transition from Diamond Naturals to Diamond Maintenence. After another 2 to 4 weeks my 2 year old pounddog bully mix that has an iron stomach would not eat it. Back to the Naturals, no problems. I do not recommend Maintenence. I only switched because of cost. I've never had this happen on any dog food.
Dogs seem to like it
It is a good value, I have tried other diamond foods, This is the first time with this one. Dogs seem to like it.
One of the worst
This is a boring, lifeless food. This caused both of my dogs to have gas and horribly bloated stomachs. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Do not reccomend
My dogs eat EVERYTHING. But they won't eat this. My biggest dog who eats 3 cups of food a day won't touch this until he's starving. All 3 of them have also had very bad gas since starting on this food. I'm afraid to see what the yard looks like.
Quality ingredients
My dogs love this food, I tried it after their usual food at my local retailer suddenly jumped in price over $15 a bag, a 50% increase!
