It's okay
My 1 dog,Scotty,will eat anything but my other,Grim, is very, very fussy and is not impressed with this substitute for her usual Victor(same company I think) but she doesn't seem to like the Cherio shape. She will eat it with some canned food mixed in. Unless your dog is fussy the food seems good although even when mixes with the leftover not recalled Victor they both had looser stool for a week. Not a bad food but after about 8-9 years we're looking forward to going back to their normal diet.

This 35 lb bag was bundled in a big box including a small box of Vita Bone biscuits, the latter's integrity supposedly cushioned by some flimsy paper. Wrong. The Vita Bone box was shattered as were a number the biscuits. I recommend both products; however, not Chewy's method of packing without thought of how adequate cushion would protect contents.
Looks like my bag was cut open
I brought this bag in and my dog was more curious about it than usual. I open the box and find loose food everywhere (makes sense why she wanted in the box) The bag looks like a knife has been taken to it.
wrong food
Was told to use Diamond Senior for my 2 dogs by one of you consultantis as it had glocosamine and mty dogs have been to the Vet, due to wron ingredants for my 22 month Catahoula and my 5 yr. old Catahoula. Dogs had whits gums and vomiting for days.
Love Chewy!
Chewy has a great selection of dog and cat food and just about any other pet supply I’ve ever needed. Great prices, free shipping, so why would I bother buying big bags of food in the store. My dogs get excited when they get there chewy box too. ( Sometimes I get them a new toy)
Tastes great (as good as Post Grape Nuts at least)
I'm being more careful with my 8 year old's diet and I liked the ingredient mix for this. I tasted some and it was better than the grape nuts cereal I used to eat long time ago.
dogs won’t touch it
I’ve been ordering the Diamond Naturals brand for years and our dogs have always liked it, especially the Salmon one. I wanted to try the senior one for the first time since one of our dogs is getting old and they are not eating it. :(
Never again !
Having purchased Diamond food for some time, and with my girl getting older I tied to go senior food. Day two the diarrhea started, so I started to pull thing from her that I thought it might be . Anyway it was the food .don't know way but stopped the senior food and within two days so did the runs. Never again. What a mess.
Diarrhea
This senior dog food is for true seniors who have trouble going to the bathroom. The first night, my dane woke up panting and had diarrhea in the middle of the night. I started mixing it with other diamond natural flavors I always feed and it helped some (maybe after a week they've gotten more used to it) but still having potty issues. Not sure which ingredient exactly is causing it or maybe didn't realize how much fiber was in the food? The brand overall is great and have been feeding it for years but unless your dog has digestive/constipation issues I'd maybe check with a vet first.
Zoomies
I got this to try for my 2 older dogs. Who had been having joint problems. One of the dogs especially loved this new food. He was zooming around the backyard in a couple of days!
