How close is this to Actistatin (no longer available). Switched to Cosequin, but running into fur issues with my 3yr old Lab

I have been giving these to my 75 lb Shepard mix he is doing so much better with his arthritis on these . We found out our chihuahua now has arthritis as well . She did not like at first . I break a small pc off of the shepards one and give to her . She was having a hard time walking on days and now she runs around , with no down days . Both dogs seem much better since being on these . I highly recommend them . I’m not sure about the size difference in them so the Shepard a full one every day and the chihuahua gets a small pc daily ,one pc for her lasts 4 days broken up into small pieces.

You say the ingredients are sourced from the United States but got my package today and it clearly says using ingredients from around the globe so that’s obviously not only the US so which is it ?

My 12 Your old dog has a problem chewing them is there anyway I can soften them for her?

There would not be a way to make these chews softer, however due to the soft texture, they can be broken into smaller bite size pieces if needed.

How effective it is!

While it took some trial and error with these, I can definitely say they help our dog! He weighs about 65-70lbs and does best with half a treat every other day

While it took some trial and error with these, I can definitely say they help our dog! He weighs about 65-70lbs and does best with half a treat every other day. I found a full treat is just too much for his stomach. He went from stiff joints to bouncing around the yard like he use to. Highly recommend but prepare for finding what works best for your dog.

I bought this for my older dog who has started experiencing stiffness, for him it has so far worked wonders. He seems less stiff when getting up and has started running around. As for his younger brother, if your dog has a tender belly use with caution. Poor Trapper had impressive diarrhea, he my pup with a sensitive stomach so I wasn't surprised it brothered him.

I have a flat coated retriever; she’s very active. I started giving this to her when we noticed her hips were starting to give her trouble. This helped at first;

She has been on this for about a year, but unfortunately it is no longer strong enough for her. She has started showing signs of discomfort in her hips again, so we will try a different product before looking into a prescription. Overall it is a good product and she did not have any negative reaction to it.
