no

What is the dosage/frequency?

Answer by ChewyJan 06, 2018
It is recommended to consult your veterinarian prior to use. Give 8 - 12 mg per 1 lb of body weight every 12 hours. (Approximately 1 chewable tablet per 30 - 40 lbs of body weight every 12 hours.) This product should be given within 30 minutes after the animal has ingested an amount of food equal to 1/3 or more of its normal daily amount.

Can this be crushed up and mixed with food? My dog won’t eat them

Answer by ChewyFeb 02, 2018
This product may be crushed and mixed into food if needed.

Are these chewy like a soft treat or are they "chewable" but really hard? The ones I have now are really hard and my dogs won't take it unless I crush it up first.

Answer by ChewyMay 28, 2021
This supplement is an easy to chew tablet.

It absolutely helps relieve pain for your fur babies, but it also will cause stomach issues. If your dog is sensitive to things you can't use aspirin on a regular basis. So if your dog has tummy issues, runny stool, or constipation issues use these liberally bc it will cause blood in stool and throw up. I found out the hard way and it broke my heart. If your baby has these issues only use when they really need it, like twice a week at the most. Everyday is harmful

My Vet suggested I give my dog aspirin twice a day. This is exactly the right to dosage for him and he thinks it's a treat. The best things is it really helps his chronic wrist pain. He hurt himself a few years ago and even after surgery still has episodes of limping. That's when I know he's hurting. This just helps him have a more normal life. Without it he would limp every day.

I just ordered this for my dog, and was going to give half to my mom for her pups to try. Well upon counting the pills I noticed it only had 74. The bottle says 75. I know I didn’t drop any, even had my husband double check. He also counted 74. I usually wouldn’t complain about something like this. But really sucks when you’re trying to get your fur babies some relief.

My dog suddenly got where he couldn’t move and wouldn’t eat over the holiday weekend and was unable to take to the vet as they were closed. The director at a local shelter, told me about this product and I got some that day. An hour after giving it to my elderly dog Cody, he was able to move around and seemed to feel much better! Great product!
