Great idea but

Perhaps a great idea for a smaller pet or a pet that doesn’t have an automatic sprinkler system but these boot/socks didn’t work for my big Mastiff/Pit Bull. They

Perhaps a great idea for a smaller pet or a pet that doesn’t have an automatic sprinkler system but these boot/socks didn’t work for my big Mastiff/Pit Bull. They worked at first but the weight of him getting up would twist the boot/socks to the wrong position causing him to slip. They would also get wet when he would go out in the grass while we are gone. I don’t want him to wear wet socks but he needs the traction for better footing for my old guy. I hope this information helps someone else that may have the same issues. I was impressed at first but that was short lived unfortunately. Also, I was afraid to tighten them anymore because I was concerned about cutting off his circulation.

Tiger Toes ordered were as described and fit perfectly based on the measurements given for the product. My dog occasionally gets a torn paw and then licks at it. Previously, I covered her injured paw, to allow healing and to prevent the licking, with a child's sock and a strip of velcro, but Tiger Toes is definitely an improvement on my sock idea! Tiger Toes, with the extra thick grip on both sides and the sock being the shape to fit a narrow dog leg, is just what my girl needs and will appreciate. I think I'm going to love these as much Bebe will!

I want to gve a big Thank You for including 4 in each pack since our furbabies generally have 4 legs and paws, not 2. I found them affordable, adorable and true fit to size. I've been using them regularly as my dog is suffering from severe allergies and scratching like crazy. She appreciates the socks over boots so she's not having to wonder when her paws will touch the floor and walks and runs normally :). They're breathable so her paws don't get too warm. She's gotten to the point of pointing her "toes" so I can put them on. The velcro is the right width, length, and sturdieness. I have to wash them regularly since she's been wearing them so often (got 2 packs) and so I air dry them to help preserve the velcro as the top of them are weakening and fading some. I will definitely buy more again. Thank you again!

Basically disposable and cheaply made

For the first few uses you might find these are great, but then you notice the velcro straps are the cheapest things imaginable. DOK like to shout about how the brand was created by two engineers, so the only reason that the "velcro" wears out after one wash, doesn't even extend the width of the already too narrow strap and becomes useless after a few weeks ... is because they saw the problem and decided they didn't want to spend the money on quality Velcro or pay to have the entire band covered. Making the strap better in size and quality is an obvious fix to an obvious problem. DOK cheaped out.

These dog socks are wonderful. My 16 year old Golden Retriever was having a hard time keeping her legs under her on hardwoods. She is so stable when wearing these just on her back feet and once she got used them after the first 10 minutes, she actually seems to like them now. No more "ice skating" on the hardwoods!

These are great for older dogs that have smooth worn pads. Our sweet 13 year old Labradoodle constantly slipped running across floors and had trouble getting up when lying on a smooth surface. She took to the Tiger Paws instantly and loves them. No more worries that she will hurt herself slipping. Not to mention she looks adorable in them! More colors please!

I have tried countless shoes and boots for 2 of my 3 dogs for years (my 3rd won't let me put them on, though I am still working on it). I have discovered a few things about shoes and boots that seemed to be a constant with them all. First of all, when you have a hairy dog and a narrow shoe opening, it makes putting them on at all almost impossible. If you succeed, at least in my cases, as soon as the dog runs or scrapes at the ground after going potty, at least one will come off. And it will continue coming off and I will put it back on again. They wear through their shoes so I knew I needed grip but also durability. Lastly, I wonder how many people realize that the front and the back legs are diifferent on a dog so the front shoes won't fit as well on the hind ones and vise versa. In fact, I have found my dogs hind legs are narrower than the front and the hind feet sit more like on a tiptoe than the front so I almost tried buying a different size for the hind feet but then I saw these TigerToes. I was intrigued by the premium grips that nearly wrap around the whole sock. I liked that the foot and leg would "mold" to the soft shape of the sock whatever angle it happened to be and I liked that there would be some "give" in the toe area. Lastly, it appeared that these would actually stay on my dog. I also loved the fact they are cotton as we are a cotton family. The only negative for me was that I could see was durability. I was sure my dogs would wear through them on the very first walk. I reasoned, however, that even though they may not last as long, the very reasonable price made it possible for replacement often. Let me say this. THESE SOCKS ARE THE BOMB!!!! What a great idea and product. They are holding up very well and my dogs love them. I have bought multiple pairs so when I wash them there are backups to use while they airdry. Great, great product.

My 12-yr-old arthritic poodle couldn't enjoy the boat life anymore ... slipping and sliding all over the deck. She is once again sure-footed and can't wait to have the wind in her nose. She loves to put them on, and they stay on! Having grips around the entire sock is a game-changer! She walks normally ... not a clumsy high step like she did in other "boots." Highly recommend!

Seemed like they would be a great idea to keep my 15year old rat-terrier from slipping on the floor, but his paws are the same size as his upper leg, and these socks only work on dogs with wide paws. His paws measured 1-3/4" wide, so I got a small and they swallowed his foot, and we couldnt keep them tight enough and they kept sliding down. Seems like a good product, just not made for dogs with petite feet.

My 11 year old goldendoodle is starting to slip on my hardwood and be afraid of walking on it. We tried using his snow boots in the house and he overheated. I bought these, got them 2 days later from Chewy, and he loves them. My dog has confidence to walk around again and get more exercise. He doesn't overheat and started walking normally almost right away. My doodle is pretty big compared to others. The size L is actually a little loose on him and twists around sometimes, but the velcro keeps it on his foot. Keeping it for when his hair grows a little longer. They take a minute to put on, but I love this product. Definitely preventing a broken bone for us.
