Our sample packet that came with the Elsey's litter was excellent: moist, tasty, easy open, easy feeding, cats loved it. When our order arrived, every packet was so hard and dry that I had to break it apart with a fork, then add chicken broth. Our 2 cats licked all the broth but were simply not interested in the protein. Not a hit. Donated the rest to a shelter.

Mentions it helps with oxalate stone formers. My cystitis cat is very well managed. He gets more hills cd wet( only wet food) than the elders. It is his Prescription food. I give the elsey pouches for a treat sprinkle once in a while for a treat He loves the canned elsey too. Too much. I got him off that. His cystits issue needs the prescription food. I alternate one pouch with 3 script foods. And lots lots of added water to all his foods. Happy bladder happy cystitis cat! Water water water added. No dry food. It’s what the cystitis cat bladder needs!

My cat enjoyed the chicken and salmon . I was a little afraid because of the reviews but i usually do well when introducing new foods to my cat . One of the things

My cat enjoyed the chicken and salmon . I was a little afraid because of the reviews but i usually do well when introducing new foods to my cat . One of the things I recommend is mashing and shredding the pouch food into minced or just shredding the pouch pate and mashing it a bit . Of course you can add extra hydration if you want . Your cat may not like the texture .

Good, healthy food

This actually smells like fresh/pure people food, not like stinky cat food. My cats had been on Fancy Feast, which my vet says is like the McDonalds of cat food

This actually smells like fresh/pure people food, not like stinky cat food. My cats had been on Fancy Feast, which my vet says is like the McDonalds of cat food. After that, it's hard to transition to a better quality food. I started by mixing it with their regular food, and now all my cats will eat this very willingly. They still like a little gravy from another cat food mixed in, but I don't always do it.

Nope

She hates it. She prefers dry over this. This is almost as dry as kibble.

Great food but

Really great healthy food but none of my 5 cats would eat it. I put it outside for the stray cats. They wouldn’t eat it either. It’s really dry for a wet food. Kinda

Clumpy

I expected it to be softer. Clumps and is on the dry side for wet food.

It was not as moist as presented.

A no go for Gus! I donated the remainder to a shelter.
