The Litter Cats Love

Dr. Elsey’s believes litter can be loved—by cats and their owners. They’re on a mission to help keep cats in loving homes by providing proven, veterinarian-formulated solutions.

They Speak for Cats

Dr. Elsey’s puts heart, soul, and science into every product to solve the complex needs of pets. Every problem calls for a solution, whether it’s bringing a fussy cat back to the box, keeping paws free of dust, or fueling pets’ ancestral dietary needs.

Bring Your Cat Back to the Box

A problem cat is one who chooses not to use the litter box. There are three likely causes: medical ailments, territorial marking, or behavioral issues. Cat Attract helps fight litter box aversion and bring cats back with a natural herb blend.

I keep trying different litters, but I always come back to this one. Dr. Elsey’s is a quality product, especially for the money. This one in particularly, very low dust and doesn’t end up dusting everything. Great for cats and people with asthma and other respiratory issues. Fine grain and very soft on the feet yet not much tracking. I guess I should stop trying all the litters and just stick with what I know works. And it works great in my Litter Robot.

Dustiest litter we’ve ever used! Would never recommend.

We searched for a litter that was as close to 100% dustless because our cat has asthma and the dust aggravates it. Dr. Elsey’s Respiratory Relief litter seemed like

We searched for a litter that was as close to 100% dustless because our cat has asthma and the dust aggravates it. Dr. Elsey’s Respiratory Relief litter seemed like a good option. Wrong! It has the most dust of any clay litter we’ve used. I do not recommend this litter, especially if you cat has breathing issues.

The packaging is a one star. Ruins the product.

I tried this brand and version from chewy in the past. I couldn’t fathom why it would be considered respiratory relief as it was extremely . Then I purchased it

I tried this brand and version from chewy in the past. I couldn’t fathom why it would be considered respiratory relief as it was extremely . Then I purchased it from another company and it arrived in a box rather than a bag. It was not dusty at all. It was outstanding! Minimal dust, and very, very low tracking. I went through several boxes and the experience was the same I returned to ordering from chewy and both orders. The product was sent in a bag. Again, the litter was completely smashed so powdery, dusty, and tracking all over the place. It’s a shame that many people might try this, be disappointed and not purchase again when it seems that the product is great, but the bags do not keep the integrity of the product. If you’ve tried it before, and it did not like it, try purchasing it in a box.

It leaves a fine dust everywhere immediately.

As soon as I start to scoop there erupts a dust plume. I used for a week and you cannot believe how much fine dust was left in the kitty bedroom. I had to ditch

As soon as I start to scoop there erupts a dust plume. I used for a week and you cannot believe how much fine dust was left in the kitty bedroom. I had to ditch the huge amount I purchased and replace it. Going back to a different option. Not for us.

Long-time user for an asthmatic cat

We've used this for years now, for our asthmatic cat. It's one of the products in our "toolbox" of care for him. There is dust when you fill the box or stir it

We've used this for years now, for our asthmatic cat. It's one of the products in our "toolbox" of care for him. There is dust when you fill the box or stir it around, but I'm assuming it's less or a different kind of dust than a standard litter. This one clumps great.

No odor control but minimal tracking.

The cats were fine with this litter and unlike the last three we tried it did not track as much around the house. Unfortunately it did not control odor well at all

I’ve used this litter for years mixed w a sustainable corn litter. The last few bags I received were very dusty. I will never use this litter again as I have 2 cats

GIANT ROCKs

I feel like I haven’t been using silica litter for that long and used to use clay clumping litter and I don’t remember there being enormous rocks where they would

I feel like I haven’t been using silica litter for that long and used to use clay clumping litter and I don’t remember there being enormous rocks where they would pee. It was crazy.

My finicky cat loves this litter!

We have tried so many litters with our older cat, and no matter what she had litterbox issues. I finally tried this litter and wish I had years ago! Once we switched

We have tried so many litters with our older cat, and no matter what she had litterbox issues. I finally tried this litter and wish I had years ago! Once we switched she began regularly using her box, and it’s been wonderful!
