Bought this product without going to the vet. My elderly cat (15) has a leaky eye, something I've seen before in other elderly cats. Getting her to the vet is quite the undertaking even though the office is only a few miles away. I read the ingredients and reviews and figured, what can it hurt? The instructions say 3X a day. Good luck with that. Anyway, it does seem to work to clear up the leaking. The side of her nose is stained and dried up and I grab her to put drops in as needed. I even started putting them in my other cats eyes. He's less squirmy about these things and his eyes are looking better.
I'm not sure if it was allergies but my dog started accumulating gunk in his eyes. I had some leftover prescription eye medicine the first time he started getting gunk in his eyes which improved the situation but didn't stop it completely. I also didn't want to go to the vet for this issue so I gave these a try. Applied once in the morning, once in the evening and after a few days the gunk stopped.
My dog has allergies & his eyes are filled every morning. I put a couple of drops in & clears it up. But if doesn't, please have your dog's eyes checked
I finally put 2 and 2 together as to why my dog was sick and lethargic and had bloody diarrhea. He has zinc poisoning and got very sick. Now I am also worried about his vision because I have used these on him for months, thinking they were harmless.
Not usually one for reviews but these have worked great for our pup! Our girl started having seasonal allergies that cause eye discharge. Along with a daily allergy med, these drops have significantly helped reduce goop. It’s not 100% gone, but just one or two drops once a day have really helped flush out any allergens and slowed the goop.
I am actually frightened to use this product as it seems very susceptible to bacterial contamination. I used it once and saw that it uses a glass dropper that must be removed and replaced in its bottle which almosr guarantees contamination over time. I have been afraid to use it since.
I got this for my soon to be 16 year old dachshund for dry eye. So far it's helping to keep the eyes moist and it's easy to administer.
My 16 year old Chihuahua/Pug mix has been suffering with allergies for about a year. One eye gets so bad it requires a vet visit and special drops. Even after one day of use he stopped scratching at his eyes completely and any swelling is completely gone. I also tried them on my 7 year old chihuahua recently having the same problem and it worked just as well. No scratching or swelling. Will definitely re-buy!
Standard Poodle (2 years old) started displaying runny, boogy-laden eyes. I read some reviews about this product and thought I would give it a try…and so glad I did! After 2 days of drops (2 per day) his eyes are completely clear and boogy free! Would recommend.
Don't put anything like this in your pets eyes unless it prescribed by a veterinarian if your pet is having eye irritation and or redness i strongly suggest that you take them to a vet to be seen this stuff here caused my dog more problems, lesson very well learned on my part!
