Was looking to switch up my Dogs food. I really find it disheartening to read how little response people have been getting from this company with legitimate questions and concerns. For me that's a reflection of all aspects of a companies business and product. Considering the sizable price increase it seems that quality has gone the other direction. Perhaps they sold out and the new owners are cutting costs? Regardless, reviews work for me and a non responsive company is HIGH on my list of NO. Maybe it really is an excellent product but me and mine will never know.
My elderly beagle hated her dry food unless I mixed other stuff in it. I tried Dr Tim's and she's been happily eating it ever since. Her coat appears better and she's moving better too.
A 42.7% increase in two years. At some point, it has to stop. No complaints about the food but other than the price increase.
Our adopted pup arrived in June with a bag of kibble she had been eating while with her foster family. It was a 50 50 combo that she would eat but not with much enthusiasm. I looked each up on the dog food advisor website and they both had marginal recommendations. We began adding a topper of Farmers Dog to entice her as I slowly switched her to a version of Taste of the Wild, and then to Wellness, trying to find a quality kibble she would actually enjoy. She is an athletic dog and I was getting concerned about keeping up her weight so I scoured the reviews again and decided to try Dr. Tims. We wanted a grain inclusive diet and it was a success from the get go. We still top with fresh food in the morning but she is also happy to eat it by itself which means we can free feed. A resounding success and a happy dog.
The cost used to be around $60 for a 24 lb bag now its $108. I can’t afford to feed it anymore. I liked the fact that I can feed my 5 y/o and my almost 11 y/o the same dog food and they both benefit. My one dog does really good on it with his sensitive tummy but will be looking for something else unfortunately as the price over $100 is no longer affordable :(
Dr Tims is a healthy dog food. I am very happy with the product.
Great dog food. Both dogs full of energy, shiny soft coat and they love it!!!
It was recommended by a friend to try Dr. Timothy dog food for my elder dog. She stopped getting sick and started acting like a puppy on her good days. She is 17 years old a little blind and a good companion. It is wonderful to find a product that helps keep our fur babies healthy and living longer.
This is good food but they have priced their way out of business. Too bad.
The food seems to be descent, I have 2 that will eat just about anything, and one fairly picky eater who will eat it most of the time. They’ve been on it for quite some time, but Dr. Tim’s has raised their prices 30% in a little over a year. I know inflation has been high, but 30%!? This bag is no longer affordable, disappointing.
