airplane travel review
this was given to me as a gift but I almost bought it myself when I first got my kitty. It is perfectly good for short trips to the vet and such but I finally did a long plane trip with my baby and wanted to write a specific review *for plane travel*: PROS: some reviews say it is too small but it is exactly the max size for some planes, any bigger and you'd be risking not being able to take it as a carry on (it has to fit under the seat) for airplane travel the fact that it is flexible but sturdy is ideal it matches my purple samsonite carry on perfectly lol it is open for ventilation on 3 sides but one side is closed, which my cat appreciated cause she was able to hide her face in the dark when she got too stressed CONS: it is a BIG problem that it does not open from the top. It is a shame but if I ever have to travel by plane again I will just have to buy a different carrier cause life would have been much easier both in the plane and at TSA if I could have accessed my cat from the top and put her back in from the top too. The fact that the side fully opens up flat was nice for the car ride from the airport but it is useless in the limited space of the plane and the stressful surroundings at the airport.
Not Soft-sided
This carrier is well-made and folds up almost flat when unzipped but it is not "soft". It has a fabric covering the rigid framework and mesh side and front windows, but the windows are the only thing that is even flexible, much less soft. It would work well for airline use but would be on the heavy side when adding the weight of an animal as it weighs almost 4 lbs. alone.
What I wanted
It sure is a pet carrier and it seems nice and comfy on the inside. There is a random clip thing on the inside though and I have no idea why it’s there or what it’s supposed to connect to.

I mainly bought it for vet visits. Its a very nice bag that collapses to save space. Highly recommend
Comfy, but too small
I got this one as a Black Friday offer because I needed to take my senior boy to the vet, but it is too small for an adult cat. Maybe for kittens?

Just what I was looking for
Purchased this for my new kitten. It easily folds flat and is easy to carry. I like that it is large enough I should be able to use it for a while before potentially needing something larger.
Love this style
I've been looking for a carrier that will almost completely unzip. Have one similar and it works great for vet visits. Kitty can easily be removed by unzipping sides and one side of the bottom. Then while waiting they crawl back on bottom cushion and I can put to top cover over them without zipping the whole thing up or having to put them back in a kennel style. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the sizing. It say 18 inches but that is the top length and the bottom of carrier is only 16 inches long. I have another manufactures that measured 20 inches on the bottom and thought 2 inches shorter would be ok but this bottom is 4 inches shorter. I will have to return this one and order their 20 inch version.
Perfect size for big cats
My cat is super tall and 13 pounds of solid muscle. (And he was the runt). He loved it to and even walked right in to check it out!
Great product
This carrier is really great. It easily zips together or apart to store flat. I like the shoulder strap or hand carry loops are there to pick. It comes with a furry mat for the inside too. Great price!
