Description

Help your cat manage unpleasant hairballs with these Emerald Pet Hairball Support Health Chews. These soft, angel-fish-shaped chews are made in the USA with a combination of active ingredients to help prevent constipation, support a healthy digestive tract and help remove hairballs. Salmon oil and safflower oil lubricate your kitty’s digestive system, while digestive enzymes, bromelain, which comes from pineapples, and papain, which comes from papaya work to help break apart hairballs, so they pass through your buddy’s digestive tract with ease. These chews also contain chicory root, a great source of natural prebiotics to support a healthy gut. And you can have peace of mind knowing that these health chews are naturally preserved and 100% free from grains, gluten, soy and artificial ingredients, colors and flavors.

    Depends on your cat

By Angelpaws on Nov 21, 2021

I had 2 cats that enjoyed them and 1 that did not. They aren't terribly hard, they can be rolled into a ball with your fingers. They just need to be softened by the heat of your fingers. I bought them to help pill my cat (tiny pill). In any event, it's a hit or miss.

    Not very soft

By Comfycute on Apr 1, 2021

These are not chewy - I'd compare them more to hooves/chews for dogs. I got these specifically for my older cat who has THE WORST BREATH and heaves a lot. She's 18 years old and needs something soft to chew on to help with tartar and her hairballs, this product is not that. My other two cats weren't interested in them at all. The description on the package/online implies that these are "chewy" and that you can break them up into smaller bites. This stuff is rubbery and pliable, impossible to break up without a knife. I've never had a cat that likes to chew on anything this stiff unless it's fresh bone.

    Love these

By Fluffy on Apr 9, 2021

My cat loves these. He isn't happy that he is limited to only four a day. This is the first thing he eats every morning and he is insistent that he get them first thing. I've been looking for something to help with the hairballs and this is the only product my kitty is willing to eat.

    My cat loves these!

By Saphotoart on Apr 18, 2021

Before finding these treats, I was giving her an other brand treat for hairballs, plus cat lax. She is picky, but loves these. She has really long hair, so hairballs are a problem.

    Cat doesn’t like them

By Morgan on Apr 7, 2021

My cat will not eat these and she eats everything and anything. She’s very healthy but was hoping to use these for hair ball prevention and she won’t eat them.

    NOT FOR ALL CATS

By Padraigin on Jun 30, 2020

We have four cats. Lily ate the treats without a problem but then vomited at least 10 times through the night and the only difference in her diet was the treats. Daisy, one other cat wouldn't even try it. the other two were not offered it in lieu of this experience. Was it milk? was it salmon? Neither of these would be tolerated by Lily, yet she ate the treats which would surprise me. So, beware. I won't offer any more to any of my cats.

    Healthy and they know it...

    By Mustard154 on Aug 5, 2020

Even my least picky cats (all 4) refuse to eat these. It seems like they know they are healthy, like I did when my mom tried to sell the super health foods growing up. I dont know for sure but that's my theory...
