Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2019
Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be a good fit for your pet's current treatment plan.

and what are the pork by products? number 2 ingredient.

Answer by ChewyDec 16, 2020
Pork by-products are composed of nutrient-dense organ meats. They are rich in protein and amino acids to help strengthen and maintain your pet’s muscles. Also, because of their nutrient-rich composition, they are typically the first thing an animal would eat in the wild. Pork by-products do not include animal parts such as feathers, horns, beaks, teeth or hooves.

Sparky, who is 12, loves this food. She was getting bored with Beyond. I also thought it was time to research which wet foods are good for senior cats. I feel good about choosing this food knowing it is better for her and that she enjoys eating it. She's also on Royal Canin fibre response dry food that she likes. It's pricy, but worth it.

We rescued a 12+ year old cat that came to us in very bad shape. We have been giving him Royal Canine for 5 mos. He looks and acts 100 percent better. His meow is vigorous, he’s walking and climbing and his coat looks beautiful. And digestive issues have disappeared. We highly recommend.

The cat I purchased this food for would not eat it. One of the ingredients is something called Sodium Tripolyphosphate - this was also an ingredient in Sheba pates I purchased for a prediabetic cat to try, but all of my cats rejected that food as well. If you search this ingredient online, you will understand why cats don't want to touch foods with this ingredient (it is a component of commercial detergents.)

My cat is 17 and has some arthritis in her hips and some dental discomfort, so I tried this food. She did like it, but regrettably it turned her poo very dark and then it started turning very loose until it became liquid. I ended up switching her to Purina Pro Plan sensitive skin and stomach, and within a couple of days her poos became completely normal. While this is a high quality food, it just didn’t work for my cat.

Just the fact that they wouldn't even lick it. They kind of smelled it but that's all, the second and third days wouldn't come close enough to smell it. We've tried for a few days. They won't touch it, plus now they won't eat their regular food. No more of that for them.
