granulomatous colitis

My pup has suffered from granulomatous colitis since he was 4 months old. He is now a year and 8 months. After over a year of vet visits, hospitals and test we finally found out he has this condition. This medicine has been the only one able to control this condition. He hates the taste it but I give it to him regardless. This medicine has kept us away from bloody diarrea, accidents in the house and more. He is a happier pup now

Poor taste

As i wrote before/ my dog would not take these even if pill pocket, covered in cheese or peanut butter. Find a different generic!

Didn't see "flavored" in the description

My dog won't eat these. She can smell them a mile away. I didn't read where it said flavored. I was in a hurry.

So grateful

E were unable to find this prescription product locally out on any other petcare website. So grateful to Chewy for having it and for shipping it in a timely manner.

Value and ease

Easy to administer. Chewy price was about 1/2 what the vet wanted to charge. Powerful antibiotic.

Good prices - wish 272 mg available

Chewy had, by far, the lowest price for this expensive med. Received fairly quickly - 2 days later than the date communicated to me, but I had a vet that could give me this Rx for 2 days. Chewy did say they’d reimburse me for those 2 days which I appreciate. I have a giant breed. I have to give him 5 pills per day of 136 mg. That’s hard to do because the pills are huge and very bad tasting - and my dog is very picky. The emergency vet was able to give me 272 mg so I only had to trick my dog half as often each day. Am grateful for Chewy’s prices and service, though.
