Can you use this around the eye of the horse

This can be applied liberally as needed to areas needing protection from sun or UV light. If applying near the eye area it is recommended to not get too close.

Is this waterproof

This sunscreen does not prevent water from absorbing into the skin.

I am looking for a product to use on my horses mane and tail to prevent the sun from fading the color. Will this product help with that?

The SPF 20 cream blocks UVA and UVB rays and is designed to prevent sunburn on his most delicate areas, like the nose, face, and ears. This is not for the color protection of the mane.

This sunscreen did not work on my horse. His nose was still pink and sunburned the following day. Sticking with zinc products which works much better.
