The bacon flavoring/scent is made from human grade artificial materials and is the same or similar to what is used in bacon flavored human foods. There is no soy or wheat protein used. It is not recommended by the manufacturer if your pet has allergies.

Bam-bones are chew toys and are not meant to be eaten or ingested. Inspect the toy frequently for damage and remove and replace if it is worn or broken.

Broke apart in 5 minutes

Within 5 minutes of my dog having this bone, my couch was covered in tiny plastic pieces. It is not worth the money and could potentially cause harm to your pups

Within 5 minutes of my dog having this bone, my couch was covered in tiny plastic pieces. It is not worth the money and could potentially cause harm to your pups. I did reach out to chewy for a refund and to let them know (which as always, I received the best customer service) I would not recommend buying this bone, or brand.

Too soft

We have a medium sized dog who used this bone supervised but still managed to pull off large pieces and ingest, which he would then throw up later. Had to throw

Great for aggressive chewers

Not hard enough

I bought these for my dogs who are all 45+ pounds. My two golden retrievers chewed right through this to the point where it lasted maybe a day or two. I don't recommend

Not for heavy chewers

I have multiple dogs ranging from 10 pounds up to 80, and all of them love chewing on these synthetic plastic bones. I purchased the more expensive nylabone brand

I have multiple dogs ranging from 10 pounds up to 80, and all of them love chewing on these synthetic plastic bones. I purchased the more expensive nylabone brand wishbones first and I can definitely say that those things last a good 2 years! I ran across these particular ones one day and thought I'd give them a try because they are a good $3-$5 cheaper, but I should have just spent the extra and went with a nylabone again because this particular brand lasted not even a month in my home. I bought several different flavors and multiple of each so my pups didn't have to fight, and all around no matter what one it was they all lasted about a month. Like I said in my title, I have power chewers who will just go at a bone for hours on end several times a day, and these bones are just way too cheaply made for that. I don't recall if they claim to be heavy duty - I should have looked before writing this - but if they do then save your money and go get yourself a nylabone instead if that's what you're looking for.

Ethical not durable

Hoped I’d found a cleaner version of a super-chewer dog toy here; I did not. Actually still took away from my pit mix after 30 minutes as it was too destroyed already
