Picky poodle likes it!

I have a very picky standard poodle who is not food motivated at all. We’ve always trained with toys or the absolute highest value treats if necessary. I needed to change up her food because she was either not eating the food I was buying or clearly sick of it. I opted for this eukanuba food as I knew it was one that my vet recommends and that my childhood dog did well on throughout his life. Thankfully, my poodle is loving it! She’s happily eaten every meal. The kibbles are a good size for her (she’s a slender 50 pounds) and I like that they are supposed to clean her teeth. She’s 12 now and has good teeth but we’ll take any extra help we can get with her age and breed. She will eat the food straight out of the bowl happily but also actually eats it if I use it to train with her around dinner time which is a huge deal and a big indication that she actually really enjoys this food. My only “problem” is that my other little 14 year old with diabetes and IBD now wants this food too and is trying to bark his way out of the crate to get it! It seems to be a hot commodity. We will be sticking to this food for awhile (knock on wood).

Our dogs did well on this for years. Last few bags they have become really itchy almost instantly after mealtime. I don’t remember it having chicken meal years ago

He loved it immediately!

My vet said Eukanuba was one of 5 brands they trusted most so I switched. Doggo loved it and it didn’t upset his stomach.

I appreciate having a heads-up about the delivery. Even better is knowing when and where it is delivered. Chewy has been extremely reliable. All but two issues were tied to Chewy; other issues were traceable to the local shipping company. Even then, although the Chewy rep was scratching her head after contacting them, she quickly sent another bag of food. The couple of issues due to shoddy packaging at Chewy’s end were graciously and quickly handled. Love Chewy’s! Highly recommend them.

food is find, bag.., not good at all

I usually buy royal canine of hills science diet but I thought i'd try this. (my dog needs to loose weight. when I went to open the bag I realized it did not have to zip lock top. I don't like moving a large bag of food into a separate contained that can be closed but I will have to with this bad. sadly, I will not order it again.
