The Ever Clean Extra Strength Unscented Premium Clumping Clay Cat Litter has an ammonia-shield, antimicrobial agents and plant extracts help to destroy litter box odors for you and your feline friend. The Ever Clean Everfresh with Activated Charcoal Unscented Premium Clumping Clay Cat Litter has Carbon Plus technology clumps tight and grabs odors which inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
Do you have to empty the litter box totally when cleaning it? My husband just shovels clumps out and adds litter to replace what he has taken out.

Scoop out clumps and solids daily and dispose of waste with regular garbage. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Simply add more Ever Clean litter when necessary to replace what you scoop out. Once a month, empty entire litter box and dispose in the trash.

I Love This Litter Too Much!

This is my favorite product of the year! Honestly, I love this litter! When my son visited with his cat in tow, he said his kitty litter was better than the one we used, that cat smells didn't stink up his house. I didn't really believe it until I bought his brand Ever Clean last month. It totally mitigates smell (100%). I never bought the lightweight litter, but the regular litter would get all over the house. There's something about this litter that makes it mostly stay put. I'll admit it's dusty, but it is a small price to pay for not smelling anything unpleasant anymore. We clean the litter box twice and sometimes more a day in the past, but yesterday I forgot because it was so scent free. It is really an extraordinary product. I'll never go back to traditional cat litter.

this is the best cat litter

I am a senior woman with a life long history of living with cats. This is my all time favorite cat litter. The cats have always liked it, never had a cat that avoided cat box. Never had an odor problem. It can be a bit hard to find this litter sometimes that is my only problem.

Getting too expensive!

I've used this great litter for the past 5 years or so. The price has gone up drastically in the past 2 years..to almost $1/lb. Too expensive to justify purchasing anymore. I have 5 cats so use alot of litter. My sis also used for years but now mixes it 1/2 and 1/2 with another cheaper litter.

Its good but

I have two 3 month old kittens. This litter is fantastic at keeping smells down - even without all the nauseating perfumes of the heavily scented brands. My only issue with this litter is that the clumps do not always stay clumpy. Little bits break off the clumps and makes the litter look a little gross. The little bits still make it through your average litter scoop. So they basically remain until it is time for a full litter clean out.

Very satisfied

Our litter box is in a small bathroom off our kitchen and dining room, so it's really important that odors be at a minimum. This litter works really well, tracks much less than the previous brand I was using, and is easy to scoop. With daily scooping, no one would even know we had a litter box around.

Formula is different

I’ve purchased this litter for my cats for over 7 years and while it’s always been a little dusty it was worth it for the odor control. My last order was different. It’s ridiculously dusty, dust clouds just from scooping. I will be looking for a new litter.

Ever Clean is the ONLY litter I'll buy now!

I have been getting Ever Clean litter for a number of years now. This is the best cat litter I have ever used. As long as you scoop every day or every other day, you literally do not have to wash the cat box for weeks. That is how good this litter is. I have a philosophy about cat owners, if you own a cat, people should not be able to smell that you have one when they enter your home. There has never been an odor from my cat litter other than a recent deposit. I recommend it to anyone I can, quite enthusiastically, I might add. Thank you for your Superior product and thanks to Chewy for carrying this brand of litter.

Very dusty

Decent clumping litter but the dust is unbearable for me. This is probably the dustiest litter I've tried. I have an air purifier not far from the boxes that has an auto function with a particle detector and it changes significantly during regular, daily box cleaning.

Dust issues

We've used this litter (the 4 pack) for years without any issues. Except for the dust bowls when changing the boxes it's a great product for clumping and odors. Around Oct-Nov we started smelling heavy 'litter dust' in the area where our litter boxes are (they are actually in a separate room with a continuous bathroom fan). Soon after we started having respiratory issues (coughing, nasal congestion). Fortunately, our kitty babies didn't experience any issues. I ended up switching to a non-clay litter and getting stainless steel litter boxes. Shortly after, our respiratory issues improved. I questioned whether the formula had changed so have written to the company to inquire...awaiting response.

Dusty Dusty Dusty!!!

this product, while it clumps well & is odor-resistant, has become so dusty i cannot recommend it. seems like it’s dustier than ever!
